Fx 3.6.3. By default, all my history, cookies & cache are always cleared on close. I launched a new session and did nothing but sort my bookmarks. I did not visit any sites.
Yet my cache was full of entries to all of the sites whose bookmarks I had sorted.
Can someone explain to me why this happens? It seems like a privacy issue to me.

Not sure how or when, as I am not aware of having installed anything voluntarily. It is now affecting Firefox, as well as Safari.

Hi, I have downloaded new Firefox 3.6 for my OS 5.8 (previous version was running fine) and it doesn't work at all. Links do not work, address bar does not open sites, period. I deleted the previous version and now I am stuck-I can't find it anywhere, and I want to get rid of this "upgrade". Safari works fine with my system. It looks like the javascript problem...what to do?

Plugin Check page always comes up with "problem/Retry" despite months of trying to use it. Using MacOSX 10.5.8 with latest Firefox Browser update installed. Tried clearing History/Cache/Cookies. Tried Disabling all Extensions and all Plug-ins save for Quicktime Java (which does need to be updated.) Tried all of previous at the same time. Tried Refreshing multiple times. I try to go to those pages. Immediately (without loading or any wait) I get an "unable to connect" message. On Firefox, it says "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.cj.com." On Safari, it says "Safari can’t connect to the server." Yet I can access these websites using a PC which is on the same wireless network.
What is going on?! I don't know where the problem is. Is it the network, the computer, a firewall? It's making me crazy because new sites keep getting added to this "blacklist," often sites that I need to access for my business. This is very inconvenient.
