I HADN,T BEEN ON THE COMPUTER FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND WHEN I OPENED IT TO PAY MY BILLS, IT WAS LIKE READING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE! NO CLUE ON HOW TO ACCESS MY BANK AND A LOT OF PARAGRAPHS I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND PLEASE CAN YOU RETURN THE OLDER METHOD OF HOW I PAID MY BILLS!? THIS ISN,T FAIR TO LEAVE ME STUCK LIKE THIS, ALL I'M DOING IS PRESSING TOPICS AND GETTING NOWHERE' AS YOU CAN TELL I'M NOT COMPUTER SAVVY BUT I DO NEED MY COMPUTER TO PAY MY BILLS. PLEASE HELP ME. I changed my email and my password for my Firefox account, on my primary laptop (MacBook Pro 2010). Both my smartphones (Android) synchronized afterwards without a problem, but my second laptop (MacBook Air 2020) asks me to sign into Firefox with the old email and does not accept the new email. When I put the new email, it gives the message in the attached screenshot (in German, sorry if the translation is wrong): "Cost limit is reached. Profile was previously synchronized with another account. Create a new profile to synchronize it." But I do not want to create a new profile, I do not want any subprofile that I would have to build up from scratch, and it is no solution to the original profile lingering around on the second laptop without ever being able to be connected to again.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from the second laptop, hoping the sign-in-data would be removed and I could just sign in to Firefox with my new email address, but no. It shows the same sign-in-form with the old email address and the same message.

I need help urgently. I have to travel and can only take the second smaller laptop with me. I hope someone can help me.

Szukałam takiego czegoś w ustawieniach i firefox support, ale nie znalazłam nic co by pomogło w wyłączeniu blokady reklam. Czy mógłby mi ktoś pomóc i pokierować jak mogłabym wyłączyć blokadę reklam? I enabled two-step authentication on my Firefox Account by clicking on "Add". Everything went OK. (It was the first time I enabled it. I've been negligent.) The "name" (email) on the token generated by my 2FA App was the primary email of my Firefox Account.

Then I clicked on "Change", and followed through the same steps as when 2FA was "Added". Now, the "name" on the generated token was neither the primary or the secondary email of my Firefox Account ! The name on the token was the email I used as the primary email of my Firefox account back in 2020 ! Despite the wrong name (email), the 2FA code worked fine for signing in. How and why does this happen? What is the intended purpose of the "Change" option?

I fixed the name on the token by Disabling then Adding 2FA again.

A Curiosity?: When I try to sign into Firefox account, 2 emails are offered by Firefox - the current primary email for the account, and the previous primary email for the account. The second email IS in Logins, but not for accounts.firefox.com. The 2nd email is rejected if it is tried to be used. Where is Firefox getting the previous account email from?

'When I try to sign in to Facebook on my laptop, it says that I am using the wrong password. But that password works for Facebook on my iPad and my iPhone. I'm wondering whether simply changing the password is a solution or whether this situation indicates something else is going on.

Am I correct that the toolbar icon " - | 100% | + " is the Firefox Zoom function? I have never been able to locate a toolbar icon for NoSquint Plus. I also have Theme & Font Size Changer, but it stopped working years ago. Anyway, working fine for many years, automatically setting the zoom on every tab to 150% so I can read it easily.

A few days ago I got into the NoSquint Plus preferences (NEVER OPEN THE HOOD !!!) , and wondered why it was set to chrome API instead of CSS API and changed it to see. That kind of broke it completely. Maybe changed other stuff trying to get it back...

At present, Firefox Default Zoom is set to 150% . NoSquint Plus is default full page 100% and default text only 150% There are no instructions telling me how these 3 settings will interact.

It seems that when I open NoSquint Plus Preferences and change the %, it works on all the tabs on that page, but not on any other page unless I open it & fiddle with it.

How do I get what I want? There is no "return to default settings" for NoSquint Plus.

I just updated the Firefox browser and installed it successfully. When I tried to open the browser, I got a msg stating that the security of the page I am trying to open has not been verfied. Really don't understand that since it is the firefox browser and this came from Mozilla. How do I correct that?

i cannot log on to either one of my E-mail accounts, I had lost a password and got a account recover key from Mozilla that won't work either. I need help

I've been noticing that when I click History > Clear Recent history, after clicking and going back to History, it hasn't removed everything. I have Firefox on my Android phone which is set to clear history upon close. For for unknown reasons, its leaving sites from both desktop and phone apps after clearing.

I'm running Firefox v 115.9.1esr on my Mac.

Any ideas?
