Mac OS 10.10.2 Firefox 78.9

Problem: When I go back from full screen mode, the half top of tabs(more like the 2/3 part to the tab) becomes not clickable. Only way to solve it is just to restart the browser.

There is another thing that could provide a bit more info. No matter whether I've ever made it full screen or not, the 2/3 top area of the tabs will never turn grey when I put my mouse on it.

No add-ons and themes installed. Tried safe mode and it didn't works.

The same bug exists on the other Mac, which runs an older version of firefox.

I am on a mac book pro (2 months old.)

When I visit my own website (www.NLP4Kids.org) it causes my mac to crash. Initially I thought it was a problem with the site and got it checked but it is running fine on my colleague macbook.

When I visit the site firefox freezes, sometimes the images become "tiled" (random squares of the page all jumbled up) and other times it just makes my mac switch off completely.

This doesn't happen in safari so apple will not offer help.

This continues to happen in safe mode.

According to firefox my plug ins are up to date

I'm having this recent problem with Firefox Developper Edition. When I watch videos online, my Mac won't go to sleep even once the streaming is over. It's normal that the browser prevents the mac from sleeping while the video is on but I'm trying to understand why it doesn't let it sleep even when the video reaches to an end. I've tested it with the Opera browser and it doesn't do this. When I look in the Activity Monitor it shows that only processes coming from the Firefox browser are doing this. How can I fix this issue? I've tried deleting my cache and history, scanning my computer multiple times for any kind of malware, updating the browser... I have a Macbook Pro late 2013 and I'm running Yosemite. Any help on the issue would be really appreciated...

I am running an iMac with Yosemite software, 4gigs of RAM and the FireFox 57 up-dated itself like it has many times before. NOW, I am totally unable to play any video from YouTube, no movies either. Seems there is some concern about HTML5. YouTube says, "your browser currently does not recognize any of the video formats available". Thats YouTube talking to me about your funky browser

the apps i've found don't seem to automatically use existing search terms, but require separate list of keywords to highlight. i use this feature ALL the time on an ad hoc basis, and don't have time to do that.

years ago i lost this functionality when the google toolbar became obsolete, but then a third party author wrote 'google toolbar lite' which did it. i used that until my most recent solution, which i believe was native to firefox until v.52. now it's disappeared again. WHY are these things just left behind, not considered? and more importantly, is there a v. 57 solution?

and btw, despite admittedly not having given myself much time to get used to it yet, i'm not convinced by the black background to the tabs. apart from anything else, i believe that websites' favicons have been designed for a white background....
