Greetings. I am on Ubuntu Linux OS. Trying to run WhatsApp, I only have a web based option. Messaging, photos, works well, but no Audio. Desktop Speakers and Mic are ON (tested). No "speaker tab" on Firefox. Help!

I usually watch videos on Firefox on Stan - https://www.stan.com.au/account/login - with no problem on Debian. Just wondering if this is a fault with Firefox on FreeBSD, so I know where to go looking for the problem. Other outlets have sub par performance, also, such as YouTube, where the video comes up but plays like it's operating at one frame/5 seconds, with no sound. Thanking you for any time and trouble.

So as the title suggests, I have an odd issue, where audio from calls gradually pan around my headphones. It starts normally, but slowly goes towards the right ear, and eventually it starts moving back towards the center, but very muffled, as if something is simulating audio going behind my head, then left ear, then back center. This happens across different computers, OS's, audio interfaces, headphones, so the issue is highly likely to stem from within Firefox, although I'm not ruling anything out.

I've had this issue for probably years at this point, but I very rarely take calls (ie. Teams, Messenger, Discord), so it's never been the biggest issue, but now I have to regular do calls on Teams, and it's driving me slightly nuts. This does not happen while running the respective apps, but frankly, I'd rather not have to do that.

It seems to be related to WebRTC, but I can't find a specific setting that changes anything in that regard.

Firefox decided to not play any sound on my laptop, Spotify works on itself, if I open it in Firefox it doesn't. Same with YouTube and everything else. I use Artix Linux, I double-booted with Windows and it works on it, just not on Artix for some reason. I have tried to allow acces to it, even redownloaded everything, nothing worked. It's not the biggest problem, since there are subtitles, but it would be good if it worked.

When watching videos on youtube, I hold down the space bar to make it go at 2x speed, this makes the video and the audio de sync the more I hold the space bar, It's been happening for quite some time and I can't seem to find an answer as of why this happens or how to fix it.

Hello everybody, i hope you are having a great day!. I have a problem with Youtube about the frames drops, in 1080p60fps i have drops but in 1080p normal don't. For system operative i'm using Fedora 43. And the Firefox version is the 145.0.1 64 bits. My specs are low: Intel i5 6200u with his integrated graphics (Intel HD 520) Already installed the extension h264ify, and i think i have all the correct drivers and codecs from the rpmfusion (ffmpeg, mesa freeworld) If u need more detail and information i can give it to you. i cant get in my you-tube for watch full movies and tell me about DRM and then that Firefox is installing components need to play the audio or video on this page.i need help to fix this

When I full screen in YouTube, Firefox makes a Fade in animation. Can I disable it and make the default animation works?

Note: I notice that Firefox on Linux doesn't have this feature, I don't know why this feature is only for Windows.

System Information: Surface laptop has Windows 11.

Have to keep pressing keys periodically when streaming video in a Firefox tab to prevent the screen going dark. The Ubuntu Mate Power Management settings have all been configured to prevent the System from doing so, so I'm wondering if this has something to do with Firefox. As a caregiver for a disabled person otherwise without television access I would find this very helpful.

I noticed that while YouTube videos play with no problems (despite those videos not starting automatically if I open them in a new tab) YouTube Music does not play anything at all. If I open it on my Android Smartphone it works like a charm, but on desktop Firefox nothing.

I'm using Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit Kernel 6.17.0-19-generic Desktop Environment: Cinnamon 6.6.7

I installed the ffmpeg codec package Cleared cookies and data for YouTube I did some research on my own and enabled in about:config "media.ffmpeg.vaapi.enabled set to False" Enabled in settings Play DRM protected content Disabled using Hardware acceleration Also PulseAudio is installed

I have a new Yoga Pro 7 and installed Ubuntu 24.04 on it. Cannot enable hw acceleration on it. Support page is given below. It says disabled by gfx. Also vainfo output is given below.
