Hello!

I have an imac 21.5-inch (late 2009) on my table with OS X El Capitan running on it. It has the following specifications: 1. Processor - 3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2. RAM - 8 Gb 3. Graphic card with 256 Mb

I have not been able to update the OS to run most recent Applications, and most of it, the web browsers are not updating as well.

What should I do to get through? Thank you.

1/19/26 I have used Firefox for years and now it looks like Microsoft Bing has taken over and I cannot get Firefox back. It installs to a certain point and stops. Can you help me? email: [edited email from community support forum]

Look at the attachment image. The 'Help' in the Firefox bar won't work anymore. I'm not able to get the Troubleshoot Mode to work.

Hello to all, since I have updated the Firefox to the version 115.15 a notice showed up that this version is not compatible with Windows 7 / Vista, although I use Windows 11-22H2 on my laptop. What I can do to receive regular updates for the Firefox-Browser. Thank you in advance klk

So I've been beating my head against the wall on this one... first I couldn't load Firefox and the error message would say 'Firefox is active but not responding.' I looked into that, it suggested deleting the profiles.ini file... I did, and it didn't do anything. I then tried deleting the profile folder entirely. That changed the error at least. Now it says 'no profile.'

So, I tried following directions to create a new profile. Win+R, firefox.exe -p and then tried to create a new profile and... nothing. "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved."

Unsure if its connected, but at the same time, several Steam games have been struggling to sync to the cloud, and Discord stopped working to the point I needed a clean install.

Already tried to do a clean install with Firefox and that didn't work either.

Hello, My OTHER computer is an old laptop Ver.10-9-5. Somehow my teenage son totally deleted its FireFox browser and even deleted any reference to fox. How can I repair the damage. How can I install a fox version that the laptop will accept and use. I'm not very savvy with these things so please make your response idiot proof. Thanks much. Blaine

Have a copy of Firefox portable, that I use on a USB stick. Before Firefox 140, it updated properly. Now, I find that it keeps staying on version 135, even though it keeps telling me it has updated to the latest version. Puzzled by this. Can you please advise me on this problem?

how do i completely stop updates? or at least until i restart the browser, not the browser making me restart it. i have it set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them", but its not really a choice if im forced to press the button to continue browsing...

it happens twice a day that firefox prevents me browsing and makes me wait 30 seconds for it to update after clicking the "restart firefox and update" button. very frustrating.
