I came from IBM Mainframes to PC's in the dawn of time. My obsessive-compulsive computer hygiene can't tolerate seeing anything blemish my clearly arranged desktop, nevermind an executable file and unsightly shortcut-icons, I know how to use existing commands, menus and taskbars, thanks. How do I move the firefox.exe from my desktop back into the C: root program files folder? I have tried all the usual old-tricks but she won't launch after modifying paths etc. Please help.

My firefox tried to install an update. It was unable to do so twice in a row (it couldn't even download an update, was stuck on 0kb). I tried to install it manually but the installer had the same problem and was stuck on nothing I then foolishly tried to install an older version that worked for the time but seems to have f-ed everything up in the long run I uninstalled firefox and tried to reinstall it. Now I simply can't open https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-stub&os=win&lang=ru
Is this something connected to my country? To my pc?
And I ran the disk scan check. It found something and repaired it. My install still doesnt work

I have a new Microsoft Surface tablet. I thought I downloaded Mozilla/ or transferred it from my old PC computer where it is my primary. First there is no "Home" tab. Second, I have renewed my VPN,which was recently due to renew, and I believe it is downloaded onto the tablet, although I can't find any icon for it. When I try to download it again, I get an error message that this app is only supported by 64 bit devices? So, does that mean my Surface tablet doesn't have 64 bit capabilities? I'm confused. Thanks

but that hash doesn't show anywhere on https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/134.0.2/SHA256SUMS
mac/en-US/Firefox 134.0.2.dmg shows a SHA sum of:
7832a8d1e1a13322dec1b52d32e1e64d2b6254de8348575f2d22af4975d56a85
which is completely different.
I re-downloaded it, this time from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/desktop-release/osx/en-US/, and this time the SHA sum is:
47e1c3b84e79d331842ccf994be56cd423126eaca6acfd1664d668cf48f98de0
which is yet different, and is also not found on https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/134.0.2/SHA256SUMS
What's going on? Why can't I get a matching SHA sum?

After installing update for Windows 11 23H2, Firefox would run but could not display pages. I tried re-installing Firefox with the online installer but it can't complete the installation and no Firefox.exe can't be found. I then tried downloading and installing the offline version. The installation appears to complete but Firefox doesn't launch and Firefox.Exe can't be found in C:/Program File/Mozilla/.

Do you want to delete this shortcut?" Not sure why it's suddenly done this.Should I delete the app via "Add remove" and re-install.
