I have a website so naturally I need to log into the admin, this stupid Fire Fox browser just logs me out as soon as i log in, then refuse to log me back in. So i keep trying methods like delete and re-istall but same problem. Never happens with any other browser, any ideas will help to fix this.

From last night, when I open Firefox, a blank white screen keeps appearing. Other browsers work fine but whenever I open Firefox this happens. I'm currently running Firefox on safe mode. Any solution other than uninstalling Firefox? The screen is fully white, no close button, nothing. Just plain white.

The new icons which are in version 89 are very low resolution and the download progress thing is missaligned to it's unmoving part. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Firefox 89.0 for MAC is a disaster. Tab toolbar is above the URL bar -- Horrendous. Worse yet, is that tabs and links are loading SO SLOWLY!!! I have deleted history and cache. Have rebooted and reloaded. Still a mess. Can I go back to previous Firefox? How do I do that? Is there a way to fix the slow load. I am just hating this new situation. A total mess.

After v. 89 was released firefox started having this issue, basically when i start firefox it crashes. I have tried several different solutions like fresh installs and refreshes. The one that has worked best so far is deleting the profile file and restarting my computer. It will usually let me use it until i close out of it entirely. My computer is currently running windows 7 if rhat is important.

Each of the threads below is someone reporting the same problem (which I also have), with the same timing. Suddenly on 21 April 2021 all (?) major streaming sites started to give "The WidevineCDM plugin has crashed" message and ceased to work .

No suggested fix works. Reinstalling does not help, toggling DRM application does not help. It was obviously the update (at least for users on 78.10.0esr with OS X 10.9.5) that did it. Is there some way to get this registered as a bug?

'the update with the layout is an absolute disaster. i want my old firefox layout back? and without having to downgrade. Absolutely shit the new design. What are these non-reconfigurable distances between favorites ??? I want to have it back to the way it was !!!

Firefox is frequently slow to start, takes 3 to 5 minutes or more and then says can not restore session.

I never want my session restored. I searched for 'never restore previous session' and the answers make my head hurt, not really understandable to me from square one. I am 63 but fairly tech savoy (an architect). Can someone please give me an answer that I can follow? For instance it took me quite a while to figure out what a 3 bar menu was. Since a month, I am facing this issue where it seems Firefox does not load fully on my laptop. I have tried refresh, re-install of 32 and 64 bit Firefox. But unable to make it work. You can check the screenshot attached, it is stuck in a mode I do not know of. Nothing works, no sign-in, no URL open even closing Firefox. If somebody can guide where issue could lie, that would be helpful.

When I try to go to site: https://unrealengine.com, I see only non-stop page redirection (on blog, news, etc.). In Chrome and Edge brousers this page looks right.

Many websites hang (facebook, social champ, canva, reddit) after loading an image or two or a post. Things hang, never ever load, and I'm at my wit's end with this damn browser.

I've cleared my cache and cookies. I've tried troubleshooting mode. It's not an extension.

A little while ago a virus deleted some folders in the %appdata% folder. One of them was the mozilla folder. When I re-installed mozilla firefox and tried starting it, it said file not found, would you like to search it in your folders? I've tried pretty much everything exept asking here and cleaning my laptop completely (re-installing Windows). Please tell me how to use our favorite browser again!

ps. I'm from holland so the crash report that I added to images is in Dutch...

Just updated to V89. Since that update every time I do first startup in the AM I get a minimized browser screen-see attached screen shot. Never seen this problem before. Once I maximize the browser it will stay that way until next AM start up. Please explain what's happening and how to fix it. Thanks

With the 89.0 update, the search bar in the center of the Firefox home page no longer works. It refers its input to the address bar. I don't like it doing this. How do I restore its intended function?

Everytime I opne FF, it keeps resetting since the last update. I've since tried a fresh install, deleting prefs.js, there was no user.js, restarting without any addons, nothing works.

Any advice would be great, thank you.

in the recent version, the search tool at about:newtab does not work. anything I typed or pasted in the search tool appears in the adress bar, not the search tool. I had to turn off adress bar searching to visit some uncommon URL. This make me unable to search at about:newtab.

The newest version of Firefox 89.0 (20210527174632) was installed the other day and now I have all background colors in light gray.Tried to change themes - I have default in light colors, but even the when picking the theme it is displayed with night blue background for tabs that are not open (what I used to have) - instead now I have all tabs and the menu bar in the same bland light gray color. Please help me establish my old color scheme before the upgrade. Thank you.
