If I walk away from the computer for more than a few minutes with the ZenDesk web app up on a tab, it will lock up Firefox to the point of having to force quit.

I tried disabling the Prefetch DNS in Firefox. Checked the Firewall on my Windows machine.

Hi, I've recently been experience this issue when trying to visit reddit.com on firefox. It just wont go through, the page comes up blank and nothing else happens. I've attached an image of what the page looks like when I try to visit it. Ive tried to look this up but the only solutions ive found previous are to clear the cache related to reddit and have firefox "forget" the website but that didnt seem to work. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? This problem only started a couple hours ago as I was using reddit this morning with no problem.

Hello. I updated Firefox yesterday and I have 2 little problems:
1. Can't limit number of processes. Option in settings is missing. They are always about 8 FF processes, so it's hard to kill them quickly from task manager.
2. I use Win7 with classic theme, FF is set to use system theme, and userchorme.css is put in Firefox profile folder. I don't like new unreadable tab design and and modern designs at all. Also I like simple classic look. After last update my URL-toolbar and active tab starts to display white. They were correct colour before update.

I can use firefox just fine (win10 home, v2004, os build 19041.1415)- I only get the XPCOM error when trying to open the Eset protected browsing window (for banking and protection). This has not happened before when using/updating Firefox and only just happened when I updated Firefox today to 96.0.2.
I've been browsing the XPCOM queries and have tried the basic reinstall (deleting program folders prior to installing) with no luck, but so far but wanted some clarity prior to trying other things-
Some of the answers here point out that security software can block the folder access when Firefox attempts updates/installs. I attempted an install with Eset paused, but no change. On another computer, a similar problem - a firefox error message occurs when trying to run the Eset protected browsing window, so attempted the same "program folder delete>reinstall" method, only now when clicking the Eset window, it just gives the loading symbol then nothing happens. Again- Firefox also works fine on that computer as well save for the same protected window usage. Not the same error, but still similar enough to think it's related.
Is a safe mode firefox install the next step forward? Should firefox be uninstalled prior to doing so? (Not just deleting the program folders via file explorer, but an actual uninstall process). Or is this something that should be breached with Eset tech support (beyond just pausing the internet protection and functionality, should it be uninstalled prior to firefox reinstall and than installed again afterwards)?
Please advise and thank you in advance!

Update to version 96 64-bit just completed. Many websites now experiencing Secure Connection Failed PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. Did Help -> More Troubleshooting Information -> Refresh Firefox to go back to all defaults. Open Firefox again, add Menu Bar. Open what used to be home screen tabs, ok at first, but within minutes start experiencing Secure Connection Failed in several websites. Seems to come and go, sometimes a Reload current page restores normal website, sometimes not. Close Firefox, open again, restore previous session tabs, only a matter to time before one or more start getting Secure Connection Failed errors. No extensions, no themes. Browser is now so unreliable as to be unusable. Please assist.

What does this error mean and how can I fix it. It seems to prevent any videos from loading or playing and the sites also from loading if they video links.
