I don't know where i can turn off this option :)

I have problems logging in to amazon. 2 weeks ago I changed password. Now I can't log in again. However, I can log in to amazon with microsoft edge using the SAME PASSWORD!! why does firefox keep refusing my password. firefox shows me this -- *********************** on the password line. what is going on??

In previous versions, I could open an image within the same tab, now you can only open it in a new tab and if it's on a malware site, tough luck. Also, for one Firefox process there used to be a single window in the taskbar, now it's one for each tab, and that's completely pointless.

How to fix this? Found it previously on Windows 10 but was fixed with the next update to Firefox on the Windows 10 machine. Just updated Firefox on the iMac to version 92 but problem remains.

There are a few websites that post animated webp pictures. If I download them I have to use an external converter to change them to a giff file so I get the animation. There is a add on to Firefox that was supposed to convert it ti giff - this did not work at all. I cannot understand why other browsers automatically download the file as webp and it is animated. Why is firefox so behind.

In the latest release the gap between Bookmarks on the Bookmark toolbar folders is huge. Why was this changed and how to change it back? Note this isn't happening from the menu, only from the Bookmarks toolbar folders. It is extremely ugly and huge waste of space which forces me to scroll to see all my bookmarks under some folders.

For the last 6 months, or more, Firefox is slow to launch and load content (until "X" icon becomes "refresh").

I've been working more diligently on this in the last few days. The first thing I did was to run full antivirus and malware scans. NOTHING was discovered. I then found some articles about the problem, the highlights of which presented 3 major points:

   >> I uninstalled mt LastPass and AdBlock Plus add-ons (the only 2 I've ever used). And finally, that

• Security software often instigates scans on browser-related files when FF is launched.

I launched Firefox again after restarting the machine, and there was little improvement. It takes 45 to 60 seconds, now, from the FF icon click until the window comes up and the home page (Yahoo, for me) fully loads. Meaning that the 'stop loading "X" ' becomes the 'refresh "left-loop". That's down from 2 minutes a few days ago, but it still seems to me that that's still much longer than it should take.

Please be so kind as to share any thoughts you might have for speeding Firefox up for me.

I want to have a different browser settings for both browsing the web and controlling my media player.

I currently do this by using a different browser, firefox for web and opera for a local web based music player.

Ideally I would like a browser instance that only has only Close and Minimise buttons and retains size and position. I cannot seem to do this with any browser, they all want to give me tabs, menus, shortcuts, in short, to much clutter. I have managed to create a chromeless window but then that becomes the default for all browing windows.

I would like to achieve this with just Firefox.

My last try was this, with Chrome because Firefox wouldnt play at all.

Account forms downloaded from bank and paypal show form information, but no data. Called bank and paypal and no solution. What can I do? iMac OS High Sierra 10.13.6. Thanks.

When I turn on the Windows 10 desktop computer first thing in the morning, or whenever I turn it on after it's been off, it takes several minutes to connect with Google, Yahoo, Bing. This has been happening for about three weeks. I've deleted History and cleared the cache but it doesn't prevent the same thing from happening. What else should I do?
