Someone in Bugzilla instructed me to use Troubleshoot Mode for a separate problem, so I did. After reverting back to normal mode, I find that my addons are gone. Then I checked about:profiles. I find that one profile (default-release) has my tabs in normal colors (gray) and no addons, while another profile (default) has my addons, but the tabs are strangely white, which I don't want. How do I get the addons to appear while having normal tab color (gray)?

This is an issue with Mozilla Support. I'd like to be able to mark an answer as obsolete, as it's potentially misleading.

If you search on Google for "firefox toggle bookmark bar", the first result is this:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/865261

It indicates that there's no shortcut to toggle the bookmark bar, which was probably true when it was written, but isn't true now (can use Ctrl+Shift+B). As the question thread is archived, there's no way to add additional responses to indicate the current Firefox functionality, and users that search for this information may get the impression that the older answer is still accurate.

I don't mean to single this example out, I'm sure there are others and the author of the answer did nothing wrong, but I would like there to be some way to help direct users to more up-to-date information.

A message from Monitor said my information is in 6 data breaches. The linked in stuff I can fix. But evite? They must have my e-mail. Don't know how to get to that or the other sites listed I've never heard. What do I do more than change Linked in?

Please let me know what I should be doing other than tightening linked in which has no crucial information anyway. My e-mail will get back on e-vite because someone wil… (read more)

Please let me know what I should be doing other than tightening linked in which has no crucial information anyway. My e-mail will get back on e-vite because someone will send me an invitation. The other places should not have any information on me since I've never visited, don't know what they are.

Wwhen I try to type in the field in the middle of my home page (Chrome in Firefox) why does it instantly transfer mt typing to the address bar. Also, why does the browser name appear in the address bar when I start to type? I know what browser I'm using. It's all very, very annoying. How can I stop all this stuff happening?

One reason why I liked Firefox so much were two tools in particular that have been inexplicably REMOVED by recent updates, View This Image (or Picture) and View Page Info. Now Firefox is just like everybody else and their brothers. I was wondering if there is an add-on or extension that addresses this deficiency.

I just noticed: Firefox no longer shows installed add-ons and extensions. WTF???

I know I had the same problem years ago, and it was a simple fix. However, going through the "Help" sections in FF this time was no help. thank you for any suggestions.

You've sent me an email recommending 'The Forget Button' but where is it? It's all very well saying how good it is. I certainly don't have one where it is in your video so how do I install it? Grrr so frustrating.

Ditto the Relay thing for burn email addresses. The little video goes on about how good it is but where on earth is the facility?

Soo madenning!

Any help gratefully recieved.
