I just posted a question and finally found the term for the problem: it's called Font Smoothing and I can't figure out how to do it. Every font displays broken up. The problem started around November.

2 Problems:

1) Each thime when I open firefox, the same 5 bookmarks open up automatically. How can i get rid of this?

2) I would like just one tab to open automatically, this is www.google.ch. When I set Google as my standard search engine it will open always google.COM and not .CH Can this be set somehow?

We love Firefox except for: • The automatic updates. We’ve turned this off in options, but updates still take place without our approval and they really screw up our pages. What do we have to do to prevent this from happening? • What if we do NOT want Firefox to be our default browser?

how can I force my browser to redirect links that point to www.amazon.com to actually go to smile.amazon.com? I'm not wanting to BLOCK amazon, just enter through the proper access. most links are put into emails/documents as www.amazon.com and I want my browser to default/redirect to smile.amazon.com. if I can figure this out, I can also use this for other sites which support non-profits for traffic/transactions.

Using FF 84.0.1 (64 bit) on Windows 10 Pro (v 20H2) (OS build 19042.685) (Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0) and MS Office 2003.

Until recently I've never had this problem but now, when I right click an image on a website and choose 'copy image' then paste it into my MS Word 2003 document, instead of the image, I see text containing the image's location.

I was unable to go on the : www.glance.intuit.com with a Technical Support Team to resolve an error. a screen popped up: We can connect to the server. How can I check that firefox has permission to access to the web?

Whenever I try to sign into my eBay account, I have to solve a captcha puzzle by sliding a puzzle piece into the puzzle. After I do this (and get a message from eBay stating "Verification Succeeded") I then get a pop-up box, apparently from Firefox, stating that Firefox needs to "repeat any [prior] action" to display the page, but when I click the RESEND button, it just takes me back to the puzzle, which I have to do all over again and get caught in an endless loop. I called eBay, and those idiots were totally useless in fixing this problem, and told me that Firefox is "blocking" the page.

And yes, I downloaded the most recent version of Firefox and I'm still having this problem.

How do I fix this problem?

SIMPLE... look... I'm on MY !!!... computer !... And it's MY !!!... firefox !... SO.... It's up to ME !!! ... to decide ALL THE Settings of MY firefox !!!!! ..... ... Even... if I don't want to "upgrade" anymore !!!!! ..... especialy to =>to keep MY settings !!!!!..... So, what do you think about, a screen, to fix ALL MY DECISIONS, PROTECTIONS, upgrades, blockages, filters, permissions.... scales, colors... ect... ect... Where, you can take MY informations... to put THEM !!!!... in your upgrad and not your DESTROYED !!!!!..... OR... PLEASE... can you tell me... where is the page, to learn HOW to develop YOUR-firefox !!!... OR... if, from firefox 1.0, it's time for me... to go to chrome, or the new-edge ?????..... ... Have a good END-YEAR !!!... (YES, the beginig's done !...) (an idea ... maybe a save point for user characteristics ... like ... windows ??? ...I ... I say that ... but I said NOTHING? ... Trying to migrate Firefox profile from Win 7 machine to new Win 10. Downloaded Firefox to new machine, confirmed that it worked, closed it.Using Troubleshooting feature, located active profile in old Win 7 machine, copied to USB stick. Closed Firefox on new machine, navigated to Profiles folder, copied the Win 7 file to it and deleted the existing file. Tried to start Firefox, got 'Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible'. Fiddled round a bit, finally uninstalled Firefox from the new machine and downloaded it again. Got the same error message, now no Firefox at all after carefully following such instructions as I could find. What the f*ck am I doing wrong? A year or so ago I transferred the Win 7 profile successfully to a Win 10 laptop. What has gone wrong now? Any suggestions most welcome.

Addons use to show up at the top right hand part of the screen. I have checked solutions but haven't found one that fixes the addon problem. I would like to see how many sites have been blocked. I asked this question a little earlier today and one community member said to click on the >> at the left of the tool bar. I do not have any of those marks on my tool bar. Any other suggestions? A) I am living in Canada and I would like to pay in Canadian Dollars . Is it possible? Can I use automatic payment to pay FirefoxVPN?

B) when I am traveling to Europe or South America can I still use FirefoxVPN?

Hi all,

We have an internal web application that uses an external application on our pc's to handle certain links.

After updating Firefox to version 8X it now continually asks to open these links. The Always allow... checkbox is not respected. Once checking the box it lasts for the period you have the browser open but as soon as you close Firefox and open again it will again prompt.

I tried renaming my handlers.json file and letting it be rebuilt to no avail.

Anyone know what he issue might be?

“连”、“设备” are Microsoft YaHei(MSYH), but the others are other fonts which are not on my computer, and although my settings are zh-CN, my language pack is zh-CN, my Default Font is MSYH, the bold characters are JAPANESE STYLE CHINESE CHARACTERS. Maybe it is because in your font-config, ja-JP is former to zh-CN, please fix it.
