Firefox has been my default browser forever but suddenly has started glitching! It will work for about 10 minutes but then the glitch happens and all of the top of the screen loses its text and turns into black/white color boxes that looks pixelated and the whole program freezes. In the picture posted, the glitching continues down the right side of the screen too. If I quit Firefox, it starts up fine again (with all browsing tabs lost) but then the error will occur again in a short while.

After an issue with FF not showing websites properly, I decided to uninstall it according to the instructions mentioned under https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems, section4.
After downloading the latest version and installing that, it was mentioned a new profile was made, but I could import or sync with the old profile to restore settings, passwords, etc.
For some or other reason importing this does not work the way it was supposed to, so I am now stuck with a fresh installation with all previous settings being lost.
Is there a solution, please? Help is appreciated. Thanks

I really love the new picture-in-picture option. It's especially helpful when I only have one monitor. There are a couple of rough-edges I'd like to see tweaked.
1. I resize these windows all the time to put them where they'll fit when I'm doing something else, and it can finicky to resize the window quickly. It would be helpful if the areas you can grab the edges and corners of were exaggerated. For example, if when the user's mouse is near an edge or corner of the picture-in-picture window a handle pops-up around the given area that's larger than the 1pixal-ish default handle area. I've seen similar functionality in the art program GIMP for selection boxes.
2. The way the window acts when being resized isn't very intuitive. The corners work as expected, but since the corner areas are so small I often grab the sides and that can get frustrating. I now know that when grabbing the Bight and Bottom sides of the window the Top-Left corner is anchored while resizing. Similarly, when grabbing the Left and Top sides of the window the Bottom-Right corner is anchored. That seems pretty intuitive when I type it out, what's the issue? Well, the problem comes when you are grabbing the window near the corners. If for example, I'm trying to grab the window by the Bottom-Left corner and miss (which I've done plenty) and grab the Bottom of the window. Now when I resize the window is anchored in the Top-Left instead of the Top-Right, which is the opposite of what I wanted and leads to some confusion and repositioning. What I would suggest, separate from the #1 solution, would be to break the sides of the window into three areas: Near-corner 1, Center, and Near-corner 2. When grabbing the window on the edge in one of the Near-corner areas, anchor the window at the opposite corner. When grabbing by the center of an edge anchor the window by the opposite center.
Thank you for reading my long suggestion. I hope you don't find this to be a negative interaction. I truly enjoy Firefox, and I've very excited about your new Picture-in-picture feature. I hope you understand that this level of nit-picking can only come from a place of love!
P.S: I'm very pleased to say that I did not include a third issue I had with the Spacebar Play/Pause functionality not working unless the Play button was the last object clicked on the window, because in the latest update it was gone! I want to thank whomever worked on that and let them know, someone did notice, and they appreciate it! <3 <3

[object Window]
This seems to happen most frequently for Google apps (e.g. gmail) but I have seen it for other pages. I have seen this when all extensions are turned off.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I went through the steps to disable the awesomebar with build 75 when it was rolled out. While I get what you're trying to do with the feature, it's distracting and just not needed. 77.0.1 update has undone those changes.
How do I disable this stupid thing now? Why is there not a toggle in the settings for this?
I accidentally removed the bookmark icon from the address bar and can't figure out how to get it back. Can you help? Thanks.

I would find it very helpful to be able to optionally have Firefox automatically refresh display of the current webpage periodically. If such a capability already exists, it is not obvious how to invoke it.
This would for example be helpful when using the browser for e-mail access, to keep the display of received e-mails up to date and to prevent logout. It would also be helpful when accessing a website such as that of a bank, where their built-in auto-logout feature might occur too quickly for your needs.
Such a facility would have an enable control, as well as a control to allow specification of the refresh period, e.g., a number of minutes from 1 to 60. The enable control should be very easy and quick to access, e.g. it should be available without even having to open a Settings page.

After upgrading to Firefox 77, I have trouble reaching internal websites the way I used to. My company uses a custom internal top level domain for internal services, let's call it `mytld`. If I enter a domain such as `webservice.mytld` in the address bar, I end up in search results on Google. Previously, I would end up on https://webservice.mytld/ as expected.
I have found a partial solution with the setting `browser.fixup.domainwhitelist.webservice.mytld`. The issue I have with that solution is that I have to configure every single service that way. I would rather have a solution where I can educate Firefox to understand that `mytld` is a valid TLD for me.
