Out of nowhere I suddenly got a blue screen of death for a split second and my computer came back frozen. I had to restart it and when I started Firefox it acted like it was a fresh install with everything. My theme went to default, all the addons I use acted like they were just installed, all my firefox settings are default I believe, and all my scripts from Tampermonkey are gone.

I'll be honest here, I am trying to figure out how to just get firefox back to how I had it and I don't know how to. I'm tense as all Hell and frustrated. I don't remember what scripts I had for Tampermonkey and it's just one more thing that is greatly irritating. I'm trying to find ways to roll back to how I had firefox set up before this blue screen happened while I'm also trying to work with firefox because everything is topsy tervy.

Please, someone tell me that I can get all my stuff back the way I had it.

Firefox 67.0.2 Win 10 1809 When I download .exe or .msi files Firefox saves them - as I've set in Options->General->Applications. When I then click on the file in the download icon (shown circled), I get a message from Adobe that's it not a .pdf. (I then go to the folder containing the download and start the .exe from there.) Other file types (.doc, .xls, etc.) open as expected. How do I get FF to run downloaded .exe's?

Thank you for your help.

I cannot access my Hotmail email account on Firefox. I can access the account on Edge. Firefox is becoming problematic lately with strange things happening. I cannot access some features on my bank website with Firefox but can with Edge. I don't like Edge but may be forced to use it if I cannot access necessary things on Firefox.

I have not added nor removed any extensions or add-ons. I simply opened firefox today and the window took up my whole screen as usual, but the actual browser, menu bar, etc only took up the top left corner of that window. The menu bar and all buttons on the browser work, but they act as if they are still in their original place, not where they are on the screen. To explain, it's like if you went to click the close window box on what you see, you'd be about 1/3 across the top of your screen from the left, but it's not there. You then go to hover over where it normally would be, on the top right corner, and then the close window box turns red to close. So it still thinks it's full size, but it's not. I can restart in safe mode and then it works, but as soon as you close and reopen, it goes back to mini Firefox. Attached is the image of what I see. Firefox opens and takes up the whole screen (where you see the small window and then the rest is white background).

Very suddenly, Google Hangouts no longer works with Firefox, as of the evening of June 11th. I tried Firefox add-ons but they don't work. I can open Google Hangouts page, but cannot use the messaging utility. I used it for years until last night. Apparently, a plug-in is missing or doesn't work.
