Hi, this had been a problem for a while and I thought it was my touchpad, but I now see it only happens in Firefox, not in another browser and not on my Windows 10 file system. Before I go further, let me emphatically state that autoscroll -- and smooth scrolling -- are OFF in my Firefox.

When I am on a website where I am trying to upload a file, and again, this happens only in Firefox, when the Windows 10 box opens where I could select the file -- and again, I'm opening that box from inside Firefox -- and let's say I'm in details view, when I use the arrows in the box to scroll through the available files, and just tap on the arrow --- once or twice, it scrolls down by just 1 item, but after a couple times, it just suddenly scrolls all the way down. Not suddenly from the top to the bottom, but a very quick measured scroll.

This makes is almost impossible to select the desired file because they all scroll by too fast. Let me be clear, I am just tapping or clicking on the up or down arrow, not on the bar that would cause it to move a larger amount.

For example, if I'm trying to upload a photo to Facebook.

I can't find any setting or any search results online that help.

Advice?

When I open Firefox it immediately opens the crash error report and asks me to send the information to Mozilla.

If I click Restart Firefox it will try to open again but the first one doesn't close (I need to force quit) and so it returns an error.

The crash ID is bp-676af45c-4796-45f0-aa84-926671170502

I recently changed my settings to clear all history (active logins, cookies, cache, etc.) after I close my browser, but my Kanbanflow account remains logged in. The tab automatically logs into my Kanbanflow main board the moment I open my browser, even after I've closed Firefox and shut down my laptop for a few hours.

My browser also doesn't always clear my Google and Facebook logins, especially if I reopen my browser immediately after I close it. It only clears those logins if I leave Firefox closed for an hour or so, or shut down my laptop.

I have tried unticking the "Clear all history" box and re-ticking the box, but it didn't help. It's very frustrating because the whole point of this setting is to save me the effort of manually logging out of every single account.

OS / laptop info: Windows 10, Asus UX305 laptop that I've had for about 10 months. I have the latest version of Firefox - 53.0 (32 bit) I haven't turned on the "clear all history" setting until very recently, when I started getting more serious about online security.

I installed a bunch of add-ons a couple of weeks ago - Privacy Badger, Uncheck Stay-Signed-In for Google Login, HTTPS Everywhere - but the issues with Kanbanflow, Google and Facebook only started a few days ago. The most recent Firefox update was installed on April 23rd 2017.

Has anyone experienced this issue and solved it? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help from the Menu Bar box should be displayed all the time when you install or reset Firefox the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help goes away then you have to right click and click on Menu Bar then they all come back if i want to print something out i can't unless it is displayed.

Your recent update has changed the date layout from 2/5/2017 8:12PM to 2/5/17, 8:12PM when you print out a receipt down the bottom of the page you get the 2/5/17, 8:12PM the older one looks better on the paper looks lazy i couldn't be bothered typing the 20 i thought going into the Change Date and Time box to change it back to what it should be but it doesn't control what gets printed on the paper put it back to 2/5/2017 8:12PM.

1MB is way to low to upload a picture i wanted to upload 2 pictures of PayPal's receipts to show you the before and after the update on how it changed the date.

I can access all Google's web pages, apps and functions except for Gmail (see security notice below). This only occurs on FireFox which is my preferred browser. Mozilla is not accepting the electronic security certificate from 'mail.google.com'. Also, 'mail.google.com' has NOT configured their website improperly as the security message below has stated.

I have added the website to exceptions under 'Advanced" settings, updated the software, uninstalled and reinstalled, but the problem remains. Should this continue, I will be forced to stop using FireFox all together.

Security Notice: "The owner of mail.google.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate."

Somewhere in recent Firefox history, yet another classic behavior was changed - probably for an inane "your own good" argument. I cannot find a way to revert it.

When I have a hierarchical bookmark set, there are groups of 10-15 links of frequently accessed sites. At the bottom of the group, is the choice to "Open All In Tabs" . . .

This *used* to load all the tabs in active pages. Now, it loads exactly one tab, and puts up empty tabs on all the other links. As I cycle through the tabs, it then goes off and loads each one.

I hate this behavior. I want the old behavior. I found a few references to about:config changes for max_concurrent_tabs (set to -1) and restore_session behavior, but nothing is working.

How do I revert this "feature" to the correct, non-new (broken) behavior?

And please start posting a list of "feature improvements" that you force on users, so we can go back and fix the things that are changed for no apparent reason and break our usage models.

I have a Dell 5559 laptop with an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM and Windows 7 Pro that is less than a year old.

When using Firefox I have random issues with graphics freezing up, becoming choppy, black lines appearing at random horizontally across the screen, large black boxes appearing at random and at times the entire screen flickers to solid black. I can restart Firefox and everything works fine for a little while before it starts happening again. This does NOT happen with IE or any of the other laptops or desktops that we have that are basically built with the same specs.

I can not usually make it happen except I have found that if I run speedtest.net it happens every single time and sometimes is worse than others. You can see this happen on this video I posted on Youtube. Just watch the needle sweep, get choppy and stuck https://youtu.be/dHx9CA9K2Mw

This has happened since I purchased the laptop. I have spent countless hours with Dell tech support logged in updating drivers and changing power and other settings. Dell has replaced the hard drive, LCD ribbon cable and main board twice by on site technicians as well as replacing the RAM, HD and main board again when I sent the laptop back to them. Windows has been reloaded more times than I can remember as well as Firefox being reloaded multiple times. Dell has finally given up and simply said they have no fix.

I have tried turning hardware acceleration on and off with little difference.
