Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks you.

I have an aging Intel iMac, running OS X 10.6 and Firefox 48.0.

The "datareporting" - "Archived" folder— Library / Application Support / Firefox / Profiles— contains numerous monthly folders, each crammed full of files. The one for the current month alone has 107 so far.

Are these really essential, and if not, can they be safely deleted?

Also, can the feature or function creating them be disabled via about:config?

Thanks!

It seems that ever since Firefox updated (I have version 48.0.1) the suggestions that pop up when I click in the address bar are much too wide. Before the update the suggestions (like previous websites that I had visited) took up only a small space, less than half the width of my screen. Now since the update the suggestions that pop up take up the entire width of the screen. It's really annoying. Does this in fact have to do with the most recent Firefox update and is there any way I can change the size of the suggestions popup smaller, like it was before?

I installed the add-on "PCMan Firefox Extension" in order to use a BBS in the Firefox browser. Now, even after removing the add-on, every single time I open a new tab a small window pops up that says "This link needs to be opened with an application?" even when I am not clicking on any links. Is there a way to prevent this window from appearing?

So, whenever I go to websites(like someecards, etc) and there are embedded images from Instagram, I can't see the pictures, only blank squares with a clickable description underneath it. I can view the pix fine on Instagram(or sometimes if someone shares Instagram pix on FB, I can see them fine there, too.) Just not embedded.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm unable to download any attachments directly from Gmail, although saving them to Drive and then downloading from there works, but I have to waste precious seconds with this method and it's pretty frustrating. :) I've tried starting Firefox in safe mode, clearing the cache, disabling ESET Smart Security's web and e-mail protection, but unfortunately none of them helped. I have also tried downloading attachments with Internet Explorer and that works just fine.

I'm using the latest version of Firefox (48.0.1 currently) and Windows 8.1 Pro x64.
