I was browsing the below site, when the crash happened, not surprising considering the site's resource gulping, bizarre, self-serving "stutter browse" behavior; but I was a bit surprised that the damage was so widespread that the report widget also crashed while I was 15 or 20 characters into explaining the details. The latter crash may very well be my fault; I have fine motor control problems, and trying to type on a DELL Inspiron family 15 model 5559 laptop, while dangling over a hair trigger touch pad is no fun for a 72 year old Parkinson's plus Essential Tremor sufferer.

Under the circumstances, do not expect much help for me besides identifying a problem that I encountered.

My lack of experience with this 6 weeks old to me Windows 10 environment is a contributing factor.

I'll try to identify the environment by typing in the system About page, whose content just naturally is an image, not text, and resists attempts to copy it in any way I know.

Nope, overheated from frustration. Best to just send what little I could capture.

BIG thank you to Wesley Branton! You are so awesome!

Moses a smaller thanks to you for your comment and for closing the old thread. Your fix would've been above my abilities and comfort level. I'm really sorry that my question was off-topic. I've used "only" mozilla firefox since I had my first computer and have loved it. The fact that mozilla firefox was constantly crashing (and sending crash reports) I thought the mozilla firefox community would be a perfect place to come. Had you, Moses been the first reply to my question I would've been forced to move on from mozilla firefox for good! There's no way that I could've put up with the constant crashes any longer. Please feel free to immediately close or delete this thread! Thank you.

Thanks to mozilla support. Appreciate you all.

Wesley Branton you are the man! Please take care and have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Please consider this question/issue solved. T/U

Dear Sir,

England alone is a Country without any democrtic representation of it's own! If you check the terms of The Atlantic Charter of 1941 we were promised an English Democracy by Franklin Delano Rooseveldt and Winston Churchill they said that every Country in Europe would hve a democratic government when the second world war was over.. Since that time Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland have democracies of their own while we are still ruled by a monarchist pseudo democratic BRITISH government in London Westminster that refuses to recognise that we English exist?

The elected representatives of The British Government are picked before we get to vote in their pre-fixed elections our local government is run by Westminster Whitehall and Windsor all possible avenues of expression by every aspect of the media including the BBC are owned or controlled by Professional Londoners. Many of them are descended from royal families. There are millions of these people they control every aspect of our reality and turn it to serve their own agenda ...thus we English have no democratic representation worthy of the name! sincerely ...an invisible Englishman living in an invisible Country!

I would like to check if there is a bug with printer in Firefox: HTML with CSS target selector https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7w3ZGc8CTgqMUxWZkdONlhyZWM

If you select `ru` it will hide all non-ru text, but when you is trying to print Firefox resets target selector and again there is english text. Chrome is able to print correctly with CSS target selected elements

The question is it maybe a bug in Firefox that resets target selector?

Hello, So, update after update in the last two months, it started to loose functionality. First it lost auto fill settings - stored usernames, passwords, etc. And after latest update it stopped to do redirects. By redirects I mean, let say after a successful login the web site should redirect you to a members area. It doesn't do it anymore. To be more clear, it doesn't do this for example: <meta content="0;URL=&lt;? echo $something;?&gt;/page.php" http-equiv="refresh"> And it's not that I've changed something, just ran the latest update which is currently 48.0.2 Any help is highly appreciated.

Best regards

ASUS Model Number: X553SA-M02280

I've purchased a number of notebooks/laptops during Black Friday as I did this model. In the past I've called whatever computer company I had purchased and they willingly helped me get rid of the bloatware/junk. I called ASUS and he would "only" suggest resetting. That is not the issue and I read online the ASUS bloatware/junk that could be taken off the computer. I've come here before and all of my questions have brought a complete resolution to every problem.

When I check to see what's dragging my computer down, it's ALL Asus stuff/programs. There's always a willingness to help here and the fact that mozilla firefox keeps crashing (and sending crash reports) will probably result in even more willing help. Although, that will not be necessary! Another thing that is constantly happening is I must Debug Script, restart mozilla firefox and restart computer.

Past notebooks/laptops I've loaded a bunch of stuff on before and after the company helped me and it never caused an issue. This computer, I decided from my purchase date I wasn't going to put all kinds of goodies on it before or after getting help and I certainly believe that I haven't yet and know that I won't after receiving mozilla firefox community help!

It took me about three hours to finally get a screenshot of the programs on this computer using google search only. I am an amateur, but could always and instantly do it on previous versions of Windows.

Thank you so much to mozilla firefox support for any AND all help! You ALL rock!

Not sure what triggered a recent change: either a Firefox update or a change to my IMAP server password. I used to see all my IMAP folders on Firefox - now I only see the standard folders: Inbox, Sent, Junk, Trash, Drafts. The folders still exist on the server, but don't show up on Firefox. All the folders are marked as "subscribed" on the server.

I have noticed that Firefox consume a lot of CPU, heats up computer and drains battery. Attached picture shows usage in safe mode. Everything is up-to-date (fresh system is installed today). Also, all drivers are up-to-date. When watching youtube usage goes even higher. I have never experienced such a thing with Mozilla. Any advice? Same thing with 3D acceleration on/off. I'm running laptop dell 3147 Pentium N3530, 8Gb RAM and 480 ssd. My other computer is older and usage for firefox while watching youtube range from 3% to 15%.

ps. I apologize for any mistakes made in grammar but English is not my first language

Self-explanatory. The saved login table is 5 or 6 columns wide, yet shrunk to 30% (?) of the visible screen width, and not expandable. One must resize columns multiple times to read the table data that contains a full html link, 2 expanded date fields, username and password (if opened). Window sizing for tables should either be dynamic, wide % static, or resizable. Unfortunately, under-sizing dialog windows is an all too common development practice in the Windows software arena. Surely this can be improved without too much trouble.
