I click on a new tab, enter the website, the website name comes up on the tab and then stops. This freezes my computer. I can't do anything and the blue circle freezes too. After about 30 seconds it will unfreeze and continue to the website. This started with just one website, but now it's doing it on any website I try to go to.

I understand the need to ask for the Master Password to unlock saved credentials and allow synchronization. However, for many quick browsing session, I require neither capability. Instead, every time I start Firefox, I am pestered with one (or multiple) password dialogs. Often, these appear after I have already started to type into one of the other text entry boxes, in some cases even stealing keyboard focus from each other.

Is there a way (extension/add-on?) to allow Firefox to non-instrusively indicate its interest in me entering a password (e.g., show a small icon in the status bar), which I could then explicitly click to show the dialog for entering the master password in the cases where I know that it will needed?

Altertatively, can I start Firefox with a command-line switch that will suppress all master password requests for this session?

Note that I do not want to lose either the sync capability nor the saved passwords in general. I just want to not be pestered with the master password when I know that I won't require either feature in the current session.

I use to be able to print non-consecutive pages in Firefox with Windows XP. Now that I have a brand new pc with Windows 10 I see that I can no longer print non-consecutive pages. This is incredibly frustrating and a significant oversight by the Mozilla designers. Why did you change it? Take ten seconds and browse the internet and you'll see how frustrated people are that they can't do this simple task. If I can't find an easy workaround I'll leave Firefox forever and migrate to a different browser. This is just stupid. If you have a 50 page document and you only want to print 10 pages - all non-consecutively . . . how do you expect people to do that within your browser????

Just this week I suddenly am getting a different window to sign in to Outlook. It's a Microsoft window. In the past I could enter the first letter of my email and it would pop up. Now I have to enter it every time. It seems that Microsoft is taking over my Mozilla browser.

For the longest time now the refresh icon in the address bar will not work. I did the uninstall and then re-install and it still will not work. I have never had this problem until recently. I wish developers would just leave things alone and really limit the options available. Keep it simple. A refresh icon people. One of the most simple and basic functions used daily with any web browser has suddenly become something that's an add on or a rigorous series of maneuvers must be performed in order for it to function or be made available. This is just one of the many issues I have with Firefox as they continue to "better" their product. It worked far better 5 years ago than it does today and it did a lot more back then that it will not do now. I cannot bookmark pages either and haven't been able to for a very long time. What ever happened to "CTRL-D"? Why make it so hard and confusing? I just used to have a list of pages I bookmarked. No need to sort, archive, label, or anything else with them. Just bookmark the page and save it in the dang list so I can scroll down and see them all in chronological order. It's maddening to me what you've done with Firefox. It's not been made better, it's been made so much more laborious to get simple and easy tasks done.

For several months Firefox has been regularly reporting that it is unable to update itself. It has not successfully updated itself in this period. Today for example About firefox reported version 45.0, and said it was uo to date. The download page has 45.0.1, which I've manually updated to. I have had to do this regularly.

I am on Windows 7 pro with all patches. Firefox is set to download and notify me about updates, Java is not installed, Flash is set to ask first, pop-ups are set to ask first. New windows open new tabs.

The only extension is the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
