I allowed Firefox to make changes on an update which resulted in my Document folders to be flooded with lots and lots of 1-4kb thumbnail files.

Seems to be related to previously opened web pages. I tried to copy and paste the file names but this was not possible.

Also some sub folders are gone while the word folder's content is still available

Also lots of duplicate documents in main Document folder even from my Dropbox?

Right clicking on a link used to bring up a choice called "properties". Several years ago, a FireFox update removed that ("properties") and an add-on had to be installed to restore it. The latest FireFox update, named 44.0b1, disabled the restorative add-on and removed the "properties" choice from the right click box again. Now, what is to be done? My Operating System: Windows XP

When I open the security section in Firefox Options, the dialog box says "saved logins" . When I attempt to view a saved password using the saves logins button, there is no button for "show password".

Recently i have this problem of unwanted websites opening when I click any link. One of them that opens is flirchi.com. How to stop this from happening?

In the latest version of Firefox, 44.0b.4, Password manager is replaced by Login Manager.

In Login Mgr. I can no longer see my saved passwords, just dots instead of characters.

If I right click on a dotted password and try to edit, all I see is a Blue box not my password.

Some of these passwords will be difficult to recover.

Hello! I had earlier norwegian as my preferred language. I don't want it anymore. Now allmost all of the things are on english on my computer. But some things are still on norwegian. Yes, I rebooted my computer to factory settings and downloaded Firefox again, (last one multiple times). I am not facing this problem with other browsers... But I like so damn much to use Firefox that I'm still working with this problem... The problem: If I use for example Office 365, it always says everything in the beginning by norwegian and if I for example google: "download opera", firefox redirects me to Operas norwegian site. Like said, this doesn't happen with other browsers. I have done everything that I can, without success. I am using windows xp pro sp3 and trying to install Web of Trust add-on.I keep getting a validation error and the following message: WOT could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file.Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I really want to use this add-on and will appreciate any help.

I have upgraded, downgraded, uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted cookies and cache, refreshed, restarted both firefox and my computer countless times, deleted my prefs files associated with the printer, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer, double checked to make sure all my printer drivers were up to date, installed printer add-ons hoping that it would help and NOTHING has helped!!!! Can someone please offer some advice? Thanks in advance.

I'm using windows 7. Firefox version 44.ob1 when I go to options/security to look at my usernames, I no longer have the option to show passwords. they now show up as blacked out dots along the same line. Is this working correctly?

My bank uses Trusteer software from IBM to keep fraud down. Since the update to firefox 44.0 the trusteer software is not running in firefox. Website continues to ask me to download the software. I have reloaded the Trusteer software multiple times today and re-started the PC as well. Trusteer is working on my PC because I used Internet Explorer (v 11.0.26) to access my banking information.

I just did an upgrade to Firefox 44.0 on my Windows 10 64-bit system. In trying to get Java to work, I was asked whether my browser (ie Firefox) is 32-bit or 64-bit. I can't find out which it is - the forum queries and their answers seem to suggest that there are both 32-bit and 64-bit releases for some operating systems.

Maff extension was working fine on 43, saved a few pages this morning. Did an update to 44, and puff, now there is a blank space in the file TAB where we used to have "save archive" disappeared. What should I do? Am I missing something?

I have countless-crashes each time I open Firefox. Crash report appears as it should, I then open in Safe Mode and the crashes stop. How can I fix this before I find a more stable browser?

Somehow, my v44 Firefox is messed up on Win7/64. It regularly loses session information (all my tabs and tabgroups) and many video sites don't work, as well as Youtube being totally messed up (I've gone through dozens of "fixes" from the web to no avail). Before bailing to Chrome, I'd like to give it one last try by completely de-installing FF and then a new installation from scratch. HOWEVER: I don't want to lose history, bookmarks, addons, tabs and tabgroups. I'm aware that some of these (mainly addons) could be causing my problems, so I'd like to then restore one piece at a time until I might find the corruption. The backup/restore techniques I've seen don't allow for this complete reinstall and incremental restore. Is there any way I can accomplish this?

For the past several weeks, when I've attempted to download the latest version, I get the same version (v43.0.1). I'd like to be able to download the latest version and virus scan it before I commit to installing it. When are you going to fix your website?
