I was reading an article on the mozilla support site and I believe there is an error in the article. The title of the article is: Awesome bar-search your firefox bookmarks history tabs from the address bar." How do I report a suspected error in this article?

After the latest upgrade Firefox began ignoring value of "browser.newtab.url" config line; and on that newtab appeared "control newtab" bar, which actually does not give any control. How we gonna deal with that?

When I open my home page (MSN>COM), an addition tab opens to "setting your home page" in Mozilla !!!!! It opens automatically. When I close the tab it opens again a few minutes.

Firefox told me 2 radio stations ad-dons where not safe and recommended I clear them, then FF suggested 4 or five search engines, all of them, I would not not recommend to my worst enemy, but anyway I HAD to pick one of them, so I picked the old BING with the knowing I could uninstall it later, they don't suggest ixquick or others which are safe to use. So I click for FFox to clean the radio stations off the browser, I was going to remove the radio stations anyway. And you know what the sods do? , they delete EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, at 80 I had 70 or 80 in bookmarks, now I have NOTHING and for the life of me I don't know where to begin. To think I donated to FireFox. You Have a great day you ruined mine for the next 2 to 3 hrs. FireFox tells me, they have made some educated guesses about my current browser and operating system. Tell me, have you now got all my passwords? Have you read all my emails? Do you now have my credit card details? Your sick. You made some educated guesses, bloody liar, you sound like Obama.

Hi, I have coordination trouble, and trouble typing. It isn't so bad as long as I can correct my typing. Unfortunately, some apps make it hard to select the correct spot and correct my typing. For example, Firefox. if I click on the right spot in the search box, Firefox chooses the whole search phrase, and if I click again, it chooses the whole word, but it alternates between these and never chooses the particular spot where I want to add a letter or delete the previous letter.

Is there any way to change this behavior?

Firefox 41 on the Mac.

I have the very same problem of (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1084992)[this guy], but in my case I set `newtab` to `about:blank` because I have a very old machine and I do want to save memory, if I install an addon just to do it I'd be contradictory you know! Someone could give this tip to the dev team, at least give us a way to set newtab as `about:blank`, for instance with a boolean flag.

when I press the page down key it opens the console debugger, plus the home and end keys do not function. I am running windows 10 on a brand new MS Surface pro 3

I have disabled all add ons but the problem still exists.

I had to reset my PC & re-install FF without having a manual backup of the bookmarks first. The reset process apparently keeps all data files but doesn't keep Apps. I'm hoping I can point my new Firefox to the old bookmarks file and ... hey presto.. I get my favorites back? (Thanks in advance for any suggestions)

Recently when i open my firefox browser each time it doesn't open to the home page. Instead it opens to the last page I was on before i closed out of the browser. I've tried reinstalling firefox and that didn't change anything. I'm using windows 7.

I use Mozilla firefox webbrowsing on both private and workstation. I am using sync mode and love this feature. But somehow firefox options won´t let me remember passwords on my private pc and not in my workstation. Is it possible with sync mode that one pc i checket to remember passwords and not another pc? Private pc is with windows 10 and workstation on windows XP. Thanks

When clicking on the Help/About Firefox link on Firefox, 41.0.1, the popup shows the correct version number but not whether the version is up-to-date. Clicking on the link: https://mozilla.org/firefox notes that I'm up-to-date. On the other hand, occasionally I am getting a pop up message that says something like my computer doesn't have permission to update firefox.

I also have Firefox on my Nexus 7 and I think it's set up to do some kink of syncing of URLs, etc. Might that be what's causing this strange behavior, at least strange compared to my previous experiences.

What's going on?

I am in the office, in my work, and i disconnect my sync account for the work and i want to connect my personal account but i can't because the syncing information with the first account has not dissapeared and wil be merged with my personal information.

I installed uBlock origin but that seems to only block ads, but I want to be allowed to go to sites or prevent them working. IE has a list of blocked sites under security settings, I would like something similar but better, that is difficult to change.

I was looking at images in an email, (PDF) and firefox was running 339,600K and froze my system. Is this typical? It just kept happening I waited, however the screen turned gray (with the email showing beneath) and after about 15 min I decided that was long enough and refreshed the browser (or the little circle arrow). Then I was able to begin again, but it kept happening about every third image. Thanks in advance for your advise

Earlier links to mp3 files used to get opened and played in a new tab on pressing middle click/scroll button. As the mp3 played i had a option to save audio as. After a reinstall of my OS (currently on Win 7 Professional 32bit), and Firefox 41.0.1, i am not able to do the same. Middle click of mouse now opens a new tab and a dialog box for open with- or save as-. There is no automatic playback. I would like to have the old feature of Firefox. I am not aware if my OS has SP installed and i am not in position to install any OS updates at the moment. Are there are any settings to be done or any particular version of firefox to be installed to get what i want? I am just a average user with a little bit of computer know how. Thanks in advance.
