Persistent but inconsistent bouts of this certificates problem. Especially bad with outlook.com / live.com but also dogging yahoo.com. These certificates are often inappropriate to the domain in question, coming from "sister" domains (like outlook.com login goes to blue.live.com, and so on). But this is not the point. The point is, I want to just kill and be done with certificates. You fix this one release and break it the next. Option to add exceptions goes away, comes back, goes away with no evident reason. MSIE is better behaved, shame on you. Advice to go ask the certificate supplier is pointless, they do not respond. Advice to check antivirus has been done, still ineffective with all Web scanning disabled. Clock is fine. This is simple inability to deal with messy bookkeeping at the destination end. You can't handle it, I get it. But you could at least leave me an "out". Yes, you could.

Just tell me how to eliminate certificates checking (or tell me a browser that does a less crappy job of following these chains and I'll quit using Firefox today). A browser that won't browse your most common email providers is not worth keeping. Does not matter how you think the world should be, if you can't provide connectivity despite sloppy housekeeping at the other end, you can't provide connectivity, which means you are not useful.

I don't know how to get back to my original question. I have tried to send a comment about what I tried that Philip suggested and got a site that wanted me to install a free version of malwarebytes called PC something. After I downloaded it all Firefox said this is a dangerous site. Continue or not? I said NO. how can I add that comment and get more advice?

I hope that someone can help. I have just 'lost' a folder of bookmarks with lots of precious bookmarks in it. I did it by creating a new folder and then pasting it inadvertantly on top of the precious one. What can I do?? :)

I had WEBROOT for a very long time. Its gone from Firefox now. I do not know why. I want it back. How can I get it back, or shall I be forced to change to (YUK!) Chrome as my browser???

My downloadhelper wont download the download bar will pop up i rename it and click download but it doesn't pop and move to download Que i have re-installed firefox and Dwhelper and updated dwhelper.

just get a list of the attached jpgs instead of seeing them directly. must click on each idividual on to see it.

Haven't downloaded Adobe Flash because I am concerned I will recreate the performance problems which I experienced on my desktop under Windows Xp.The machine became unusable in 2014 with response times extending into minutes.I read an article in The Age Green Guide which suggested that these issues might be attributed to an incompatibility between the earlier version of Firefox and my Dell Desktop running Windows XP.Am I right to be so cicumspect ?

I'm asking this question again as I may not have explained the problem correctly in my earlier question related to the same topic.

I have installed OneTab to my Firefox and it doesn’t show up in the toolbars. It is showing as 'Enabled' in the Extensions list and in 'Additional Tools and Features' it shows without an icon but with the title that says ‘Send tabs to ‘OneTab’. On hovering, this area seems to be active. However, unlike other icons there, I am unable to drag and drop this to the toolbar.

I have already tried the following:

1. Disabled all other extensions but Onetab and restarted Firefox. 2. Removed all other extensions but OneTab and and restarted Firefox. 3. Removed all extensions including OneTab and re-installed just OneTab after restarting Firefox. 4. I removed Firfox and re-installed it and re-installed just OneTab.

None of these steps helped me. Please advice on how to solve this.
