When I try it manually it works but sometime on checking it crashes. In latest version, facing problem in downloading. Ex: If we download a PDF to open in a adobe, it is keep on showing "downloading" in the Download window.

It is showing UNKNOW TIME REMAINING and not fully downloading. Even if i close the firefox and open it again, still it is showing the same.I thought that is is problem in my system, But all the system has the same problem. each and every 3-4 days you are relesing a version. I dont know what is there in each version..Please fix the problem. These kind of problem will make the users shift to other browsers like Chrome.

Even if I download a small file which has a size of about 10kb, the download progress bar shows unknown time remaining and apparently the download is not complete. Although the downloaded file works fine. This creates a little distraction as now the browser tab in my windows is highlighted as if it is downloading.
Now I have got a few dozen download progress bar since yesterday and it is pretty distracting. Can anyone please help me ? I have already trying resetting the browser, it does not help as the download progress bar return s to the same status.

So I finally get a Surface Pro 3 and bring it home. Excited to install the "touch" version of Firefox, since I've used it on my non-touch computers for at least a decade, only to find that they've cancelled the development.
WTF?! Seriously? Worse is that I found the reason posted in a blog, "Not enough interest". Hmm, maybe it's because nobody knew about it? Even those that did, couldn't get it to work in the touch environment. Maybe it's because it wasn't released as a "release" and always as a Beta?
Here is a fact, you've lost this user for good. Development on this old version of non-touch is what you should stop on. I mean, what computers today AREN'T touch screen? If they're not, your current and even past versions are more than enough.
Firefox had a chance to gain some ground but that is now gone. Instead they've chosen to go with the smaller market Android, build their own OS (Good luck with that) and continue developing a "desktop" mode that is more than fine.
Instead they're leaving behind a market share that is larger than both Apple and Android COMBINED. Here's an idea - FIRE your management team 'cause they don't know crap about their users. If you ever release a version in the Windows Market, great. Until then, I'm gone and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I use LastPass and before updating to the latest Firefox version, it appeared as a bookmark - now it is gone but you can put your cursor over it as with the download arrow and it shows that is where they are. Also the arrow allowing you to go back to the last website you were on, is missing - it is just a circle with no arrow in it. Thank you for any help on this problem.

I have had this computer since 2013 and used Firefox most of that time. Had no problems....the other day my computer had to have a new hard drive and the computer repair people cleaned everything off my computer and reloaded Windows 8. I have tried many times to load Firefox again and then play on the Zynga.com website Farmville 2. Now, when I go to the website it makes me sign in........and it accepts it and takes me to play Farmville 2........but then it makes me sign in again..........when I do it signs me right back out.....it just takes me in circles, signing me in and signing me out. I need help. I have no trouble with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.

I'm running Firefox 32 right now, but noticed this problem in Aurora first: There is no place to manage search engines, and now that I've installed "engines" for StartPage and DuckDuckGo, they seem entirely unmanageable.
- Firefox has a gallery of search engines I can install. I have already installed DuckDuckGo, so I cannot install it again to make it my default. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search-engines/ - I can open about:config and edit browser.search.selectedEngine to DuckDuckGo, but I'm not exactly sure how this works! (I'm assuming it pulls the DuckDuckGo search extension up.)
- I can mess around in the address bar all day without seeing an option to choose or change my search engine. - I cannot manage my installed search engines.
How do I change my search engines without hitting (my about:config) and hoping?

My computer crashed last week and I restored everything from the old hard drive to a new hard drive without any issues so far. Well when I went to restore the passwords file it will not let me. I dragged with firefox closed the key3.db and the logins.json over to my new hard drive and replaced the existing files. When I opened firefox it was just blank. I did have a master password set up on my old browser, which im assuming is causing this not to work? I know most of my passwords, but there were some on there that I really need restored and would like to fix this issue.
