When I open Mozilla I get a page wanting me to download freeware.org. What is it?

In options it says "Foxfire account email.com is not verified". I click the verify tab and go to my yahoo,there it said congratulation you are almost done. I click on the blue tab and it redirects me to a page that says your browser is out of date. I have up dated twice and my auto update is enabled. I tried to do this 4 times and changed to another email address.

Imagine when looking at the Mozilla "enter your username and password page" all you see is text but no boxes around the fields. Well...that is what I see. I see "Enter your username" but next to it is no boxes around the field to enter the username. I have to click around to see where I can type in the box.

Other pages like the Office 360 email page used to show little curved arrow buttons like "reply" and "reply all" and "Delete" with a red X but now just greyish looking pages. I tried resetting FF to default.

Is this a legitimate Firefox start page? I've been getting this in the last few days when I open Firefox. It reverts to the standard page when I refresh. I need to know if this is coming from Mozilla.

i have been getting my email pok ,but this month ,aug.2014 i check with the legion and went to send my name in and email address.incase it was lost ,but i get this sever '/' application then runtime error ,i dont know why

It seems Firefox has downloaded a document or a picture to the desktop. On the top bar, there is an icon - small downward pointing arrow over a bar. When I click on that it brings up a history of my downloads (docs, pics, pdfs, etc.....NOT software downloads). There appears to be many previous downloads in this window, they appear to be done, but NOT completed and are just hanging there in never never land. By clicking on the bottom item (3 other items), it opens a window called Library. The second options to the left is downloads. The instructions tell you to click on the "Clear Downloads" on the upper bar (Next to Organize) and this will clear out all the downloads. This Clear Downloads is, however, grayed-out. There seems to be no other ways to clear this list. Any help would be appreciated....

Over the weekend we migrated our computer system to the cloud. I was under the assumption we were only migrating our email to the cloud.

However, when I got to the office yesterday, I Firefox was longer on my computer and subsequently neither were my bookmarks.

I've looked at a host of posts and everything is leading to the fact that everything is lost. I've looked up the folders in the C: drive and the only thing that's in those folders are what I've done yesterday and today. Is there anyway of finding my data from last Friday?

I added noscripts add-on. The bombardment of all the alarm options started. The author suggested changing a host destination. I don't know how to open this file to make the changes suggested. I understand the things that need to be changed. How do I get to this plain text file and stop this problem?

A company called Postaleads has invaded my Mozilla. It is a "sales" window that appears anytime I am in a site that might sell something. Of course Postaleads is no help. I really wish there was some way of suing them for invasion of my computer. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of this announce. Thank you

I get so many advertising popups or my browser page gets redirected saying I need to install updates that I don't need. How can I stop these?

Also, watching videos on YouTube there are a lot of stops and starts.

Can you help me with these problems please?

When I am in Firefox and go into my Yahoo mail the mail's font is so large it does not even fit into the screen. I can not see where I can change the size. It is only when using Firefox I have this problem. I appreciate your help.

I own a single "device" (laptop) and have used Sync to store my bookmarks and passwords online as a way of not having to bother with backups for these during frequent reinstalls due to OS-experiments etc.

Yesterday my HDD crashed hard, so I mounted another one and did a fresh OS install (Qubes R2).

Now the fresh FireFox 32 that comes with the install will not let me reconnect to my old Sync data.

No othere devices available (nor USB-life systems) with recently Synced data locally.

It strikes me as _VERY_ strange that due to some policy of obliging people to start using a FireFox account I would now have to be deprived of my current bookmarks and passwords even if I _DO_ bite the poisonous apple and create such an account.

WTF is the logic here?
