I usuall customise my toolbar by dragging the new tab box there. However recently each time i have closed firefox its disappeared? I have to add it again every time. Does anyone know how can I stop this happening? Thanks in advance :D

I recently switched to Apple Leopard and a website I frequent often was showing some text in musical notations. For the time being I changed the font in preferences, but it is too small on many websites and the "size" selection won't work.

My computer passes the ping test, but while Firefox will open it will not connect to Google or anything else. I've uninstalled and then reinstalled Firefox. The router is working fine with other computers.

Every time I try to use my Firefox browser it takes a very long time to load up, and when it does load up I get an error message that says, page load error. Address is not found. This happens every time I try and brows any web site....Does anyone have any solutions...please!

I have windows vista ultimate 64bit installed on both my pc and my laptop. I recently went through an upgrade for firefox and kaspersky on both of my computers. My laptop is functioning as always, however, everytime I go into firefox on my pc I get an error code "firefox is not responding". I do not get this code with internet explorer and have neve had this problem before. I have uninstalled both firefox and kaspersky and then reinstalled both to no avail. If you know of a fix for this please let me know as I really like firefox.

After I updated Firefox to 3.0.7 in response to ad, I could not open Firefox again without having a bookmarked site open at the same time. The site was Accuradio. Even after quitting, shutting down, disconnecting computer plug and restarting, I still can't open Firefox without having the Accuradio site open as well.

I tried to install the new version of firefox and I after opening that link and uploading it I can't switch cover to the new version because I keep getting the message that the old one is still in use. When I drag the old version to the trash, my computer won't allow me to dispose of it again saying that it is still in use.

I have a good number of bookmarks in Firefox. I want to add more, but each time I add a new one, it replaces the last bookmark I added with the new one. That old bookmark is then gone from my list.

Also, normally when I hit "bookmark this page," the box that pops up will automatically be populated with the page title I am trying to bookmark...however, now when I try to add a new bookmark, the box is populated with information from the last bookmark I added.

I have version 3.0.7 for Mac. I really don't want to lose my old bookmarks, and I have a lot of windows I keep open now because there are pages I want to bookmark, but can't.

Any advice is appreciated.

When tying to install new add-ons, a text appears that there is no support for firefox 3.0.7, assuming I am running that version instead of the recent 6.0. The stating mozilla/google webpage has a text saying that firefox is not up to date. After downloading and installing version 6.0, the text continues to appear in the homepage and add-ons are cannot be installed.

For example, if I try to get the address http://en-US.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ then firefox changes it to https://en-US.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and fails the connection because "Secure Connection Failed". This happens on most if not all http addresses which, of course, makes firefox halfway useless to me.

When a user posts an ad on Craigslist, they are sent an e-mail with a link. Clicking on this link brings the user to a page where the ad content can be checked, and the last step is to retype the scrambled security word into a field. When I'm on Firefox, this word (which I'm assuming is an image file like a .jpg or a .bmp) does not appear. I just had this same problem on a website called Sailing Anarchy when trying to register a new account.

This is my parents' ancient computer that I don't know much about. I'm not a computer whiz, but I'm sure this has an old Windows version. I use gmail, which keeps telling me that I'm in an old version of Firefox. I went to the Help menu and checked the About Firefox, which says 7.0.1. I went to the Firefox website, which pops up the message that I'm using an old version. I tried restarting the whole computer, but no luck.

Since last night I cannot attach anything to outgoing emails in Hotmail. I only use Mozilla, I don't like using IE or any others. Ive been on the windows solution center forums, but the help given there isn't useful unless you use IE. So does any one know how to solve this with Mozilla? Basically when you go to click on add attachment nothing happens, it doesn't highlight nothing appears like there is no link. I've accessed my email account through IE to see if it works there and it does. So frustrating, one minute it worked next it vanished with no apparent reason!! Mozilla keeps crashing and hanging also, but that's another problem. If any one can shed any light on the Hotmail problem, would be grateful. Thank You
