I had several tabs open in Firefox. They were closed and not saved by another person who was using my computer, who inadvertently closed the program. Is there any way to retrieve all the tabs I had open? (Some of them had been open for days, or even weeks, rather than recently opened.)

I have dowloaded both 3.6 and 4.1 exe, however, I still get the urgent mesg from firefox. My download file shows that the downloads took place, but I guess they never were completely installed. How can I check to make sure the downloads are installed? Will the urgent messages stop when the downloads are truly installed?'

I used to be able to enter a web address and then hit "enter" and the site would come up. Now it doesn't happen and I have to click on the arrow. Annoying.....How can I change it back?

I've already gone through this once but, just so I have my opinion voiced.I have used firefox all the way back to the first firefox and I don't understand why you have to make better when you usually make worse.Didn't you learn anything from vista? worst piece of crap Microsoft has ever made besides ME. I like 3.6.19 better than 5. because it works and it's faster! I can see it with my own two eyes.Then you say your going to discontinue updates after Aug, I know your in competition with other browser's out there but, I like my old version unless you can get rid of the bugs that are in 5.,my problem is it's to slow of a response when I'm responding to questions on forums and I don't like it. It's an aggrevation I don't want so I'VE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO 3.6.19 I LIKE IT BETTER! LET US KNOW WHEN YOU GET 5. FIXED

• browser says to update to new version.
• click on download.
• download is shown.
• download window shows nothing after download progress bar is finished.
• close and open browser and the version is still old and the update warning is still showing.

Firefox constantly kicks us off of our verizon email unexpectantly and inconsistently. We have downloaded latest version of Firefox, 3.6, and the problem is still there

i was trying to learn how to develop extensions for firefox from one of the blogs of mozilla.. in that he asked me to create a profile and i was following whatever he said... meanwhile this happened.. i could not sign-in into any site.. gmail or hotmail or yahooo etc...... only basic html links are working fine.... and whenever i check out the "Downloads"-- Ctrl+Y or Add-ons ,the firefox quits.... i could not download any file...

I bought the new AVG program, and got the disc in the mail. Today I got a notice that I need to install that disc, and I am not computer literate enough to know how to do that. Could someone help me with this?

How come your firefox does not have a refresh button when everyone else has one so if they need to refresh there page. And if you are on a site.. how do you go back to firefox. No way to do either thing.

Hi, is it possible to have a strict alphabetical filter for the cache suggestions in fields (like with the previous version) instead of the new "intelligent" system? For example, if I type "fire dr", I only want suggestions "fire dragon" or "fire drake" but not "dragon fire" or "dread fire". Thanks!

I simply want to see the word "zealand", as in New Zealand" included in the U.S. English spell checker. I know its not a big country but as I use it a great deal and it is the legitimate English spelling of a country it does not seem unreasonable for it to be included.

I opened firefox to find my toolbar where my book marks usually are was compleatly blank. I started trouble shooting using the fire fox site and i found a way to restore within 5 days. how ever when i did this. it could only find files from 2009 (one year ago). so only has my really old book marks and i have lost all my recent ones. I think i might have updated it in the past two days. My computer also crashed once in the past two days.
