Whenever I type in a "bad" address, I am taken to Comcast search WHICH I DON'T WANT. Tried going through Comcast to get rid of it but can't. Also, WHY does the cursor jump to the search bar when I am typing an address? It happens a couple of times for every address.

When i download ANY toolbar the thing will freeze up on me. It will work for about a minute then it freezes. Can you help me out here?

I need to be able to save an mms:// address as a bookmark, in otherwords a one click link to a streaming video site., I am setting up voice commands so that my blind mother can listen to radio online. Any help would be appreciated. Roy

When I attempt to access my company website using Firefox, I must log in to the server to do so. With Internet Explorer no login is required. I wish all members of my domain to be able to access the website with no logon required. How can I accomplish this?

The problem, occurs with pages in a website which include simple Spanish language exercises. The pages in question call javascripts to allow users to complete the exercises interactively.

I am the author of the pages and when I open these pages as stored in my hard drive, Firefox (Vers 3.0.16) opens the pages OK.

However, when I request one of these page from the website server, Firefox (same version) displays the page as if it could not 'see' the script.

When I look at the Error Console, I see that it displays the error message: Permission denied to get property Window.API (the error message appears to refer to the corresponding javascrip (.js file)

Internet Explorer 7 opens the same pages without any problem.

I am trying to access www.fafsa.gov and I get a response back stating my browser is incompatible and says that supported Mozilla Firefox browser for windows XP (which is what I have) is Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x or 3.6.x. I downloaded the 3.6 upgrade and I still get the same message that my browser is incompatible....what is the ".x" extension. Please assist me with this as I need to access my student aid information.

Below, your system's educated guess about my current browser says that I have version 3.0.16 but if I click Help/About Mozilla Firefox it says version 3.6.13. Could this have anything to do with why this is happening?

I am using firefox 8.0 I have tried f7 and that doesn't stop it. When I totally reboot the computer it stops for awhile but randomly returns. Please make it stop flashing at me.

I have liked the fact that in the Mac browser iCab, the browser history (places you have visited) is shown in chronological order. Now that I often use Firefox on a PC, I'm wondering if there is any way I can have Firefox do the same thing?

I'm familiar with the fact that the Apple "command" key is often functionally equivalent to the "control" key on a PC. However, I cannot figure out whether "ctrlcommand" is means "control or command" or just "control" (for the PC), and I have no idea whether altcommand is meant to mean "alt plus command", "alt or command", or just "alt". -grc

When I go to some website I get the message that I cannot browse their site because I don't have the latest version of Mozilla, I do I have downloaded it 20 times. I have rebooted my computer. Everything. I have many more sites than the one I listed. Facebook gives me trouble by not always keeping everything current.

We have some error on oracle support sites, when uploading files. Oracle support guess a error affected by Firefox behind a Proxy/Firewall. With InternetExplorer behind Proxy/FW it works fine! Also with Firefox at home with no proxy it works! We tried different Firefox versions from 3.0.11 till 3.6.3 but no one works. We also tried different configurations and of course tried it with no config expecting proxy.

Has one any ideas? Thanks!

I've been using a very old version of Firefox (3.0.16), mainly because I like very much its intuitive, centrally-located and coloured Location Toolbar. Is there any chance of to import the old Location Toolbar (or its icons)to the new Firefox 11.0? Many thanks.

I have a Facebook.com account and I have to log-in almost every 5 seconds. It gets very annoying. I have made another user onmy computer and it doesn't do anything like that. I also play FarmVille on Facebook.com and there is an Addon for this toolbar so that you are able to snag items from your wall. When I go to the gamebar settings it asks me to "Connect with Facebook" I can't because the page keeps reloading and when I click the X(stop) button I try to click the "Connect with Facebook" and it either won't connect or it keeps refreshing again. Please help me...Thanks!
