Pictures are appearing yellow on websites, how do I fix this?
Most photos appearing on websites while browsing with Firefox have a yellow tint to them. This is a relatively new development that didn't used to happen.

Total waste of time. Please Give us a chance to go back. Many report the same problem, yet you act like it's never happened and offer the same lame corrective steps.... Shame. Why lie??? Why lie??? Before, Firefox had this option of disabling images from loading on websites. Recent Firefox updates removed that feature, but I'm okay with that, but... How am I gonna view/enable the images again on the sites I have included in the list of auto-disable image display? =/
I tried the Right Click > View Page Info option and unchecked the checkbox that blocks images from loading in the [Media] tab, but every time I close it and refresh the page, nothing happens and the checkbox is checked yet again. Same goes to the [Load Image] under the [Permissions] tab. =/
So, uh, yeah... Help?

At the *very* least "This Month" should always be an option! I could not browse 3 days of history until changing my clock.
Quicken downloads stopped

Following message appears: There appears to be another program process already listening on socket [127.0.0.1: 6880]. Loading of torrents via command line parameter will fail until this is fixed.

Recently, I have noticed that on some websites certain key phrases or words are underlined in green and an advert pops up once you put your mouse over these words. In particular, phrases like "gold and silver", "black and white", "fresh food", "liberal", "conservative", "economy" (plus many others) have this featured attached to them. If you place your mouse over these words a small box pops up saying "savesupto10 percent", "download firefox", "consumers finance daily - save 100%" (etc) as well as some other websites your dodgy links.
Why is this happening? How do I get rid of it? It only cropped up recently.

I have windows 8) I downloaded shumway I run about:config and "click to play" was true re-started browser, run about:config and I cannot see shumway on the list I run about:addons and changed flaswave to "ask to activate" re-started browser, went back to about:config and shumway is still not there... Anyway I tried to see if I could open you tube videos byt every time is asking to allow flash to run them, I guess shumway is not installed... sorry I am totally illiterate on this stuff :(

Hi I'm having some issues currently with my Firefox v. 25.0.1. As soon as I start the browser up, it tries to load the restore session page from the previous crash. Pretty much before the page could fully load Firefox would crash.
I have tried to create a new profile and the new profile seems to work just fine but as soon as I try to copy the sessionstore files from the crashing profile to the new profile, the same thing would happen. From time to time I would be able to get the browser working but that's maybe once in 25 or so attempts where it actually loads up correctly for me to restore my past sessions.

the video plays normally only the audio and video come in breaks for example 0,5 seconds play 0,3 seconds pauze repeat repeat infinity i could play any video fullscreen in 1080p on any website in the past i didnt made any major changes to my computer or any changes to flash or firefox i am insured i have the latest updates installed and made a reboot to be sure
maybe there is some simple solution but im not a professional with chrome from google i have no problems with flash i just prefer firefox now i have to switch browsers each time i come to a video or i just skip the video

The streaming content plays fine on Chrome and Safari. Any idea what to do other than permanently switch to Chrome???

When I updated to Firefox 25.0.1 all my add-ons were gone so I downloaded some of them again. My problem is with Flashgot when I downloaded it I can add the Flashgot (thunderbolt) sign to the toolbar, but the Flashgot media icon (which looks like a cinema reel) is not visible.
So basically when I try to add add-ons I right click on the Firefox toolbar which gives me the option to "remove or add items" by dragging them. So I dragged Flashgot media (called FG Media) (which is not visible in the menu by the way) and predictably was not visible on the Firefox add-ons toolbar
Anyone know what's up?
