I was using Firefox just fine during the day. My laptop switched off with Firefox still open (was simply doing sth else). When I switched my laptop back on and opened Firefox I was signed out of my account. When I signed back in all my profiles and bookmarks were gone. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

New Window slider (see screen shot ) in settings unchecks when Firefox is closed and opened. I have completed a fully uninstalled FF and completed a clean installation to check that was not the issue. It was not. It has been a few weeks now so not sure which upgrade fried it.

LastPass does not seem to work on Firefox, to save passwords on my Mac. It works on Safari.

Also, on Zoom Chat, the page has changed to a white text on black background in the last 2 weeks. Please advise. Thank you.

how do you disable or unreaveal when the mouse hovers over the task bar (search bar) at the top while in full screen mode (f-11) to me this annoying when the mouse enters that section of the screen. chrome does not do this. Is there a way to toggle off a switch in a setting? if not, can one be added.

Firefox closes my window too fast-feels like after seconds of inactivity. Can I extend to 5 or 10 minutes? I live alone so o no one is going to run in here and get on my computer when I get up to let the dog out.

I have updated today 2-7-2026 Read Aloud on Windows 11. It said I needed to allow permissions on 3 things. 2 of those things on the same page had slider controls for permission which I turned on. The 3rd thing is not present. It is supertonic.ttstool.com

I want to make sure my new update to Read Aloud will continue to work well. I have low vision and use this add-on a lot.

I'd like to know how to check that Read Aloud has the permission it needs for supertonic.ttstool.com

I can't pull up the original screen or I'd tell you what the other two were. One I think had to do with permission while navigating.

Please return my Computer to using Firefox default as my browser as it was 2/01 /2026.Ive tried several times to do this w/o success . I was using windows 11 and have been trying to get rid of MS365 which I never used but have been charged for a solution , but have been blocked and refused cancellation after they asked me to change my email address and PW . Insanely confusing !

I use Firefox for genealogy research because it always keeps track of which pages I've previously accessed since their hyperlink will change color. Today, I ran Microsoft's PC Manager software and it suggested clearing the cache of Chrome and Edge. For some reason it also must have cleared the cache of Firefox since the previously accessed hyperlinks are no longer a different color. Since I had a created a restore point this morning before installing PC Manager, I restored the system to that point. Following the restore, Firefox would not open so I re-installed it from the website. I had previously backed up the profile folder and so copied that to the new profile folder of the fresh install. My bookmarks and history seem to be fine but I still don't see a color difference in the previously accessed hyperlinks. Any suggestions on how to get them back would be greatly appreciated.

I cant get Pandora to load with Firefox . I am in Mexico and have been using the Browsec VPN to listen to Pandora and all of a sudden it stopped loading. I get the blue screen with Pandora logo but it doesnt go past that. Pandora works on Edge with the same VPN Browsec .

Firefox doesn't respond after attempts to sign on to GMAIL or Amazon (both with passkey option). I have to force quit from Apple Mac main menu. I am using LastPass.

Starting about a week or two ago, I noticed the text of Firefox is grainy. But when the cursor moved, it would get grainy in a different way. So, some letters which were previously unreadable became readable, but other letters became unreadable.

Going to the same web pages with other browsers renders the page readable. So, the problem seems to be Firefox specific.

Even while typing this, portions of the characters on my screen blink in and out.

If there is no solution, I will have to utilize some other browser.

I appear to have my bookmarks duplicated. Bookmark Menu list of bookmarks, bookmark 1

                                                           bookmark 2
                                                           bookmark 3 etc
                                                           ........
                                                           bookmark 1
                                                           bookmark 2
                                                           bookmark 3 etc

At a glance, the repeated bookmarks are the same, but I could have filed a new bookmark in either set. What can I do to stop these duplicates?
