Good day!!! I updated my browser today, and after that, everything I had in it was reset, from my account, open tabs (there were over 300 of them), passwords, themes, and everything else. If you don't know how to properly test your updates, then don't update your browser at all. Thanks to you, I lost a lot of information I needed. Thank you!!!!! I'm uninstalling your crappy software and switching to Edge or Chrome.

every time i launch Firefox, I get the banner prompting me to log in to network so i can access to the internet, i don´t understand it , cos I see that I am both logged in and connected to the net ?

My bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar have disappeared, I can no longer save a bookmark anywhere. Some of my bookmark folders have disappeared. I have tried restoring but I get the message "unable to process backup file"even after importing the file from my other laptop using both HTML files and .json files. I tried refreshing firefox, that didn't help. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it with the same results. Never had a problem with firefox before, but it's useless now! Can anyone help?

Hi there, each time I run firefox, a new firefox icon like the attached picture shows up. Now there are several of them. This starts to crowd the dock, also I'm not sure why they are there because I already have a firefox icon in the main dock. Also they are not windows of a firefox window. Clicking on them does nothing.

I'm running Firefox 147.0.2 on a 2020 MacBook M1, with Tahoe 26.2, and appear to have 2 versions of 'identical' Firefox on my machine. Applications shows only 1, but there are 2 distinceticons on my Tool Bar. I'd like to delete one of them, but can't do it successfully. Any help appreciated!

I use Firefox (the current version) on a Dell Windows 11 Pro laptop. I have around 8800 bookmarks, and I've lost around half the tags on my bookmarks. (The bookmarks themselves are OK; I'm losing about half of the tabs.,) This has happened to me twice recently, and I'm restoring the bookmarks as I write these words.(after I'm finished, I'll save two copies of the HTML file for backups. Can anybody tell me why this is happpening, aaand How I can prevent it in the future?

I have been using Google Messages in Firefox for over a year, and have never had any problem until the most recent Firefox update from Linux Mint. Google Messages loads on the tab, and everything seems fine. But when I click on a conversation on the left, it crashes as it's loading the conversation.

All of my software is up to date, i.e., no new software updates are indicated in the system tray (?) on the panel. Firefox info: mint-001 - 1.0 147.0.2 (64-bit)

System info: Linux Technodrome 6.8.0-100-generic #100-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Tue Jan 13 16:40:06 UTC 2026 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When a system-wide VPN application (not built into Firefox) is enabled, the behavior of the address bar changes: on the first click, it only shows 5 sites (Top Sites), instead of the usual 9. After pressing the Spacebar, the list from browsing history loads normally. The problem persists after turning off the VPN and only disappears after a full restart of Firefox. The issue is reproducible. Firefox version: the latest

Answer: Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware that some parts of the newsletter may not display correctly in Firefox, while they do load in other browsers. Unfortunately, this is a browser-specific issue and not something we’re able to control on our end.

Starting with Firefox 147.0, new tabs appear at current tab position when clicking on URL. How can I revert back to new tabs appearing at end tab position when clicking on URL?

I want shortcuts, but not the ones I visit, just the ones I save. Is there a way to make it just the ones I save, or I have to have both. If I must have both, please make it so that its separate.

I have lost my passwords on my desktop. I still have them on my mobile. I am currently logged on to Mozilla on my Desktop. If I log on to Mozilla on my mobile and select "Synch" how can II ensure that the mobile passwords replenish those on the Desktop and not vice-versa?
