The connection has timed out

The server at eofficepwd.kerala.gov.in is taking too long to respond.

All of my bookmarks disappeared. I have followed all the step to restore from the profile folder and to restore manually. It works to a point, then I get an error message saying Firefox is unable to process the backup file (see attached image). I even tried it in Troubleshooting mode.

Firefox Sidebar view only shows a 'Search' window and no Bookmarks or History lists

I have never had this problem before.
I can still view Bookmarks or History but only if I select it.

Recently, websites (e.g., YouTube) have stopped keeping me logged in. I've already checked all the security and privacy settings, but haven't found anything that seems to be causing this.

I hope someone can help me. It's really annoying having to log in to all the websites every day.

Yesterday, I lost most of my bookmarks in several Bookmarks folders. These are critical to my work with several non-profit organizations. All efforts to follow Mozilla's troubleshooting advice and use the Manage Bookmarks functions to restore or import backups in my Profiles folders are met with the "Unable to process the backup file." message. I have a number of backups available, any of which could potentially resolve this issue, but nothing I have tried is working. Please help! Thanks, Shack

I just moved to a new Windows 11 PC from my Windows 10 PC. I backed up my Firefox profile and put it on a portable drive. I loaded Firefox on the new PC and then found the folder where the profiles are. I added the profile folder from the backup. Firefox has not found it and there is no way I've been able to discern to search for it.

I added the anti-virus after trying to set up Firefox.

Here are the particulars: Firefox version 146.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 11 Application Binary: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Profile folder: C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxx.default-release

Добрый день. У меня автоматически включаются субтитры при просмотре видео на ютуб и это очень раздражает. Я пытался выключить их через настройки аккаунта но это не помогло

When trying to "Save" after pro-cococut finishes downloading a file that is larger than 1 Gig and I can't find out what to do in order to have it save large files.

so i was using my pc (and firefox) normally, when i then turned off the machine as usual.

when i turned my pc on again and opened firefox, everything was gone, i wasn't signed in and all my bookmarks and several home url's were not there, you don't need me to tell you that's not normal.

of course, i followed the most logical course of actions, i signed into my firefox account (from which i am sending this ticket), and expected all my data to magically sync, which it didn't, so i then tried to sync in manually, looking for any backup file on my pc (i couldn't find any, though i can't say i know what one looks like so...)

hopefully this can be fixed because i had auto-sync on and it would be a bummer to lose everything and slowly rebuild my browser ui from the ground up

My old computer quit working. It had Windows 10 I purchased a new computer form Best Buy. They were unable to retrieve My bookmarks as I had left the 13 digit code to retrieve them. I am home now and have the code but do not know how to use it to retrieve the bookmarks. How do I proceed?

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??
