some items are large, some items are TINY. I have tried resetting my display setting scale, but the url bar, the menu where are my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, and some other things re TINY.

Due to a drive failure I had to do a fresh Windows install. Since then my Firefox has not been loading tab favicons for the tabs from my previous session when I launch it. They do not display until I click on each individual tab. I have tried poking around in about:config and turned off several lazy loading functions but nothing has fixed it. browser.sessionstore.restore_tabs_lazily and browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand are both false with no effect on this behavior.

Any ideas for how to fix this?

I got a new tablet and synced my Fire fox but did it from the new device so it removed all my pinned shortcuts from my other computers. How can I recover my shortcut settings? What is the correct way to sync other devices to the one you have as the main one?

I used to go to bookmarks right click hit open in new tab and the bookmarks tab would stay so I could open more sites in separate tabs. Now when I hit open in new tab on a bookmark the bookmark tab closes so I have to keep opening it to open additional site?

Had trouble getting Bookmarks to look like I had on the old disk. I reinstalled the old disk and went to FireFox and downloaded the Bookmarks in a HTML file on a memory stick. Shut system down. Reinstall the new SSD disk and tried to "install" bookmarks under Manage Bookmarks, but I could not get the Bookmarks to show up on the space below the main Search HTML box. And my most recent websites found are now ABOVE the main Search HTML box. And ABOVE that is: "Get Support | Mozilla Support...... " It just all looks/feels different. I think in the old Firefox days, the line below was called Bookmarks Toolbar ? I can live with this, but I've spent 45 minutes trying to get 'the old way'. Now on that line below the main Search HTML box is also "Other Bookmarks", where I used to keep any site that was not on Bookmark Toolbar. Now this "Other Bookmarks" contains only one Tab called "FireFox Privacy", not any of my old "Other Bookmarks", that I thought I "Imported". I wish that my saved file that I "Export Bookmarks to a HTML.." did, when imported, that I would have been asked "Do you want your Imported Bookmarks to be installed exactly the way you had them when they were Exported?" Also I was on Linux Mint 22.2 on the first disk and also on Linux Mint 22.2 on my new SSD disk.

Help me download a new Firefox app and show me how to find my former apps. I clicked on Profiles and my previous app came up. Now how do i save it into a new app/or save it?

I am running W11 (HOME). FF is acting like I am running W10 (I keep getting info on needing to upgrade to W11).

Now to the real problem:

It appears since I upgraded FF to 146.0.1 64 bit, FF seems to have problems pulling up password/ids that haven't been used for a while. It actually can't find them as if they had never been used. The number of "passwords" it lists is rather small (like 8). This is causing me to have to go through lost password routines.

Any idea what or why this is happening?

Is there a way to remove specific stories from appearing? I'm Canadian and do not wish to see what the US President has done in these stories. Google News has a hide feature for specific keywords. Does Mozilla?

The email account I use for my firefox login is now no longer in use, is there anyway I can change the primary email to a different one, I am currently logged in but dont have a back email on my account and if I try to add one it wants to send me a verifaction code to the email I can't access.

It is extremely annoying that the shortcut tabs forces me to have shortcuts based on my search history

For example, the fact that I visited a website about how to make pasta does not mean that I want that on my home tab every day, I am not wanting to make pasta every single day and if I were to want to make pasta every single day I would most likely not need the recipe

But everyday I do want to access YouTube, so I do want my shortcuts enable. I won’t add it to my bookmarks since they are for more important purposes (also uncomfortable to reach in comparison to shortcuts which are right in the middle of the screen)

That is to say, it is extremely annoying that with the shortcuts enabled I am forced to either filled up all the possible shortcuts or getting shoved some unecessary shortcut recommendations down my throat

There clearly should be an option to do have shortcuts in the home tab but without recommendations based on your search history

My firefox will not connect properly with the Bing Home page. It often provides a message "cannot connect" and when I click on that, it does. But yesterday, when I did that, all that came up was a screen with just a solid colour and the search bar on it. I used my Safari browser to access Bing, but I don't like using Safari. So, would like a fiz...

I'm on a Mac using Mac OS Big Sur, 11.7.10.

Videos will not play on Firefox, whether on Youtube, in social media, on websites, or whatever. Sometimes the video will play with no audio, sometimes I just getting a rolling wheel.

I have other functionality issues that may be related.

I don't want to close and restart all the time. I am considering changing to a new default browser over the issue.

If I switch to Chrome or Safari, the videos play fine. Which seems like my answer.

I set up a new Group with 14 tabs. From my main page I open the Group in a new window, peruse the 14 tabs, then save and close the Group. If I re-open the Group in a new window during he same main session, the Group opens in a new window perfectly. If I shut down the computer and re-open my main page a day later, AND then open the Group in a new window, one of the Group tabs opens in the main window and 13 open in the Group window. I then re-add the open tab from the main window to the open Group window. Again, I get the same behavior with all 14 tabs opening in the Group window during the same session, but only 13 in the Group window if I shut sown the computer and re-open a day later. Anyone have a solution??
