Each time I open the Firefox Icon on my desktop in AVD, it opens an older version and it prompts me to recreate a profile. I updated Firefox yesterday and brought over my passwords and bookmarks. This keeps reoccurring after we fix it each time. Can you help?

All my bookmarks and history were erased when Focus was (automatically) installed. Same with passwords generated by Firefox. How do I get all this back? It should be in my original profile, but that seems to be gone, too.

My understanding for profile feature was that bookmarks, user preferences were seperated. However my Pinned websites on my work profile in my work computer is synced to my personal profile at personal computer.

Is there a way to avoid this or is this unavoidable when using the sync function.

I haven't been able to find a keyboard shortcut for switching between FF windows. I'm using MacOS Tahoe. Is this in development, or is it there and I just haven't been able to find it.

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and installed Firefox onto drive C: of the 1 TB SSD. I then decided to partition the SSD into three drives and put Firefox on the E: drive. After I partitioned the SSD and uninstalled Firefox, I downloaded the Firefox installer from Mozilla, and ran it, but it somehow perceives that I had had Firefox previously installed and only gives me the option of re-installing Firefox at the original (C:) drive location. There is no longer an option in the installer to change the installation location. How can I get around this and re-install Firefox on my E: drive instead of my C: drive?

I have two bank accounts. Both have been hacked and both banks traced it back to digital on line banking. they both claim that somehow hackers are getting to my personal info thru my computer. I do not use the phone of banking...and Firefox is and has been for a long time my default browser. Can hackers get my info from Firefox?

Hello! I have a lot of PDFs on my computer, and every time I go to look at them, my browser immediately views it in "automatic zoom" and with the sidebar expanded. Is there a way to disable these features? I find myself fixing all the PDFs to "actual size" and closing the sidebar, and not only does it take a lot of time, but it doesn't save my preference once I've closed and reopened it! Please let me know if there's a setting I can disable to fix this issue. Thanks!

I don't know what to say. One day I had one row of frequently visited icons below the search bar in the middle of the page and the next day, they were gone. Any help, greatly appreciated.

How to set Firefox to retain Login credentials for a website, so I do not have to validate every time I sign in. For example: When logging on to Chase Bank, United Airlines, etc. I have to validate my identity every time I log in, even though I have previously asked website to remember me. Previously, I did not have to do this.

I am trying to log into a "http" website forum, of which I am a member and I am unable to do so, I think due to my Mozilla and or DuckDuckGo "Settings". If at all possible, I would like to reset my browser settings, so that I am able to rejoin this forum. A step by step reply would be much appreciated, because I am not a fluent user/programmer! I have a Mac with Sequoia update but my Mac is not good with memory so when I have a new install version it will probably crash my Mac. How might I stop automatic installation by Firefox?

I used to be able to download from these two web sites Israbox and Farescd.com, but lately it said data could not be verified. Sometimes it allowed but other times it won't . Please help. Thanks

Respected one, since 2 days ago, the sound was lost when playing video content on platform X. I did not make any changes in the settings for M.F. not even in PC, I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANYTHING FOR MONTHS. Do you have any ideas, advice... Thank You for taking the time to solve my problem.

I recently had to reinstall Firefox. I made sure that settings etc were backed up in my Mozilla account, but I didn't realise that my custom search engines had not been backed up. I have about 20 of these custom search engines for work, so it was a pain to re-apply all of these. It's done now, but I'd like to know if there is a way to back these up for a quick restore on a reinstall?

There is no 'Search Engines' option in my Sync settings.

I was prompted to do an update today and it erased all my bookmarks. I have a saved bookmark file that is a JSON file type but it won't let me import that b/c it's not HTML. I have a lot of saved bookmarks for work and really need to get them back.
