Hallo, ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht meine Sprache im Settings umzustellen. Habe mich genau an die Anleitung gehalten. Aber ich bekomme einfach nicht die Sprache umgestellt. Ich will es auf Deutsch umstellen aber es bleibt alles beim englisch. Ich habe Cache schon gelöscht, habe meinen VPN ausgeschaltet und mehrfach den PC hochgefahren. Was läuft da bei mir falsch. Da ich kein englisch kann ist es etwas schwierig hier alles dann zu verstehen. Ich benutze Linux Ubuntu. Danke für die Hilfe.

When trying to visit some websites the connected server returns timeout in Firefox. Attempting exactly the same site from out Edge it answers at once.

The machine is a up to date Windows11 pc with an active Mozilla VPN.

Should I change some settings? How can I find out the reason?

i used to be able to scroll down in full screen and with the new version i can't and i used to be able to see the queue list and now i can't !!

How can i get the older version cause this one i really don't like

Is there a way to reset the Most Visited list? It's not accurate, since it has X and twitter on the list. I stopped using that site over a year ago. If I can't edit the list, is there a way to just get rid of Most Visited?

Apparently downloads of the Firefox browser are tagged with something called dltoken so Mozilla can count unique installations. How do I verify the authenticity of the download since they don't match the untokened hash checksum?

I know downloads off the ftp site won't have the token, but I installed first and then remembered to check later.

In Firefox 143.0.4 on macOS, dragging images from web pages to other applications (such as WeChat, adobe ps, Word, or Notes) no longer works, although dragging to the desktop still works. Safari is not affected.

Firefox opens full screen on my main monitor, one of three, but not the last-opened and before resizing to its last-used location and size. This three-stage process happens in a instant, interfering with live activity on my main monitor besides being really annoying. Hasn't always behaved this way. Any suggestions?

I seem to get really high CPU and memory usage only when I run youtube on Firefox. This issue never happened before. How can I fix this?

For the past few weeks, I have been intermittently but stubbornly getting the beachball of death when I open Firefox, coupled with Force Quit. Sometimes I force quit and then restart and it's fine. Sometimes I force quiet repeatedly and it continues not to open. Sometimes I restart my laptop and that fixes it, but sometimes not.

I do have a lot of tabs open, but i have always had a lot of tabs open. This thing is new.

What could have changed? What do I need to do, fix, trash, or curse?

I had to replace my hard drive recently, and with it my Firefox install. I managed to transfer everything over to the new install, except for the URLs in Reading List. The extension itself made it over; just not any of the URLs I stored in it.

In theory, I know that I can scrounge through the Firefox install on my old hard drive and grab the necessary files, but I have no idea how I'd go about doing that. I can't rely on folder names, since those are based on extension IDs that are generated when I install the extension, and the files themselves are too opaque to glean anything useful from (Notepad++ didn't turn anything up, so I'm assuming the extension data's compressed).

Other than that, I've tried:

• Running this tool to see if there was anything I could use. There wasn't.
• Trying Load Temporary Add-ons to identify the Add-on I wanted. I accidentally erased my feeds on RSS Feed Reader doing this, so there's another extension whose data I need to restore. (It was fine before I tried Load Temporary Add-ons.)

Several times today I have had messages not sent because of this error message: "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue". I am sending political messages and am concerned that Mozilla is blocking me. I have sent hundreds of similar messages over the years with no problem.

I was unexpectedly signed out of my account. I used my encryption key to sign back in which i have done before. I have never experienced this problem before. This time when i logged back in all of my saved passwords were gone. Is there any hope of fixing this issue?

How do I disable the cruft which appears in the URLbar? Specifically, the trackers detected symbol, the certificate verified symbol, the bookmark this page symbol, and the question mark symbols which appear on both the URLbar and the searchbar.

Unfortunately, my Mozilla Firefox (ver. 144.0 (64-bit)) doesn't have extensions.screenshots.disabled. So what now?

After a recent Firefox update, I've noticed a new behavior with pinned tabs. When the browser window is not maximized, scroll arrows appear next to the pinned tabs if they don't all fit. These arrows disappear when the window is maximized.

I would like to disable these tab scroll arrows and revert to the previous functionality where the pinned tabs would simply shrink to fit the available space.

Is there a setting, perhaps in about:config, to completely turn off this tab scrolling feature for pinned tabs?

I cloned my 2017 intel iMac onto an M2 Macbook Air. Since one week I use them independently and keep Firefox synchronized. I changed their names in Firefox sync. But under "connected devices" at first there was only one of them, depending on which one I refreshed the open window first. I tried to separate them by logging out and in again, but now both are gone in the list. Nevertheless, syncing works. I hope my Mozilla account won't get garbled up.

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])
