Like seeekerman who initiated the now-closed discussion at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1433369, I have used Firefox since its first release. With one exception - open image in new tab - I never use tabs. I want all the usable vertical space I can get.

For some time, Firefox on Windows (Windows 11, FF 143.0.4) has been showing a tab bar under the menu items, and above the bar with the URL etc.

How can I hide this when the FF window has only one tab, which is almost all the time for me?

The solution provided to seeekerman in that discussion, on 2023-12-08, was to create a userChrome.css file with some special incantations. I tried this it did not work.

As per the topic, since the MacOS 26.0.1 update Firefox freezes after resuming from sleep. Specifically, tab selection, page refreshes or menu selections cannot occur. Keyboard command to quit does work and after a reload all tabs, windows and function is restored

None of my extensions have changed and for the first week or so after the initial MacOS 26 release this issue wasn't occurring. No other application or system changes have occurred since 26.0.1.

Hi, can the function mention above be remove or flag off somehow? For me watching icon is already enough. cause when hover the side of the website to navigate accidentally expand the sidebar and in some time is just expand many times probably due to a bug.

I've seen on this forum from April that people are having an issue with Firefox and Google Passkey. I'm trying to log into my gmail accounts and can't get passkey to work. It freezes the browser and I'm not sure why this hasn't been resolved. Mac updated to Tahoe recently and I was on Sequoia 15.7.x (not sure exactly. Still froze. Photos are to show what's happening and that I needed to Force Quit each time.

How and where do I report when immersive reader mode renders a page incorrectly? What are the rules governing immersive reader mode inclusion?

Im experiencing crashes in and out of troubleshoot mode, often several in a row. The drivers on my device have no futher updates and Im unsure what to do. Just noticed today my firefox search bar has changed. I'm on Ver 143.0.4

Before I could click on it and it would show my recent visited websites. Now it shows nothing unless I choose history from the down error however after I go to a website I no longer have the option to click in and see my history again. I need to open a new tab.

Any idea how I can change this back as It seems like a very bad feature.

For some reason, all my text has been showing up as bold on my Firefox web browser. However, the same sites do not appear as bold on the mobile Firefox app or in a private Firefox web browser.

While I thought it applied to many different fonts, it seems to specifically target Roboto. This is especially troublesome because my photography website has all body text as Roboto:

This was not always the case, but one day everything began appearing bold several weeks ago. Text that is italicized seems to stay in italics and not bold.

Hi, I have been trying all day to get my Trend Micro program working on my Firefox browser, including Password manager. These programs work ok on MS Edge browser, but I can't get it to work on my Firefox browser

Signed on to same mozilla account on old and new computers. Set each sync for bookmarks, passwords and such. Both computers are shown as signed on, but none of bookmarks appear in firefox on new computer.

Hello. I've recently upgrade my internet connection (from fiber 200 to fiber 500 now), and I've noticed that firefox is slower than other browser like chrome, brave, edge etc.... The same was happened before so I didn't pay so much attention until the day I made the speedtest. The results was somehow disappointing (made the test multiple times, and days) I've made the test with or without extensions, same problem. I've check also that No Proxy setting is enabled. I've tried the firefox refresh, same results.

In the New Tab Home Page weather widget does not detect current location, and when I try to search any location from my Country Pakistan, it does not detect any city location.

Been trying to retrieve misplaced bookmark folders not bookmarks themselves in the Bookmarks Library with no success even going down several sub-levels; Would be nice if there were a search function, but will take a step-by-step solution. Thanks!

Hello, My firefox, I have from top to bottom, Tabs bar, search bar, bookmarks My problem is that the tabs are very large. I don't know how I did this.. partially because I had to enlarge type.. I like tabs to show what I'm on and go back and forth sometimes but would like to get them smaller. is that possible? IE: my Home button shows up as a Tab, so I can't even x out of it without firefox closing. I always thought my home button was just beside my bookmarks.. Oh well.. if someone has any ideas, please let me know.. Thanks in advance, Linda

When I hit 'enter' in Firefox, the search request is deleted. i uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox but the problem persists.

Hi, thank you for reading this :) Since a week or two I have issues with drops in framerate of videos. It happened first on youtube but since then also on other platforms with other video players.

I've tried troubleshooting mode, fresh install, different network. Nothing helps. Speedtest has me at 160 mbps up and down.

The audio runs smoothly in all this though, it really is just the video that drops.

I use firefox on a Macbook and have this feeling it started to happen when I upgraded to macOS Tahoe.
