I've been using Firefox for years because more popular browsers like Chrome and Edge have anti-features I dislike. In recent years, however, it feels like Mozilla has been more eager to follow trends set up by it's larger competitors even when those trends seem destructive to the principles that used to be at the core of this project. AI is the final straw for me. I don't understand why I would even use Firefox over Chrome if both are full of AI anyways. Even if AI wasn't a deal-breaker for me, I'm worried Firefox will make similar decisions later. I want out.

Is there any good and maintained alternatives to Firefox? Something like how Firefox was just a handful of years ago? Maybe a fork of an old version?

I'm simply trying to email someone using the email link on their site.

The link is a mailto link which requires an email application (which I don't have). All I want is to copy the link to the clipboard.

Firefox lets me right click the link and copy the email address, but this doesn't allow me to provide the required Subject specified by the site's author.

I could have sworn Firefox used to have this feature. Netscape and IE certainly always had it back in the day.

Firefox used to start in a second on my Windows 10 PC. But lately it now takes about 10-20 secunds to start (on 143 beta). Is there any reason why it takes so much longer to start now? Is there any setting og tweak I can do to get it to start faster?

When an element with `position: sticky` is placed inside a container with `position: fixed`, Firefox treats the sticky element as if it has `position: relative`, effectively breaking the sticky positioning functionality.

The sticky element should maintain its sticky positioning behavior even when nested inside a fixed-positioned container, as it does in Chromium-based browsers.

• • Current Firefox Behavior:**

The sticky element loses its sticky properties and behaves like a relatively positioned element.

This issue particularly affects modal implementations where: - The `body` element receives `position: fixed` to prevent background scrolling - Page elements (such as `.total-section`) should maintain their sticky behavior regardless of changes to the body positioning

• • Browser Comparison:**

- **Chromium browsers (Chrome):** Sticky positioning works correctly in this scenario - **Firefox:** Sticky positioning fails and falls back to relative behavior

• • Request:**

Could you please consider aligning Firefox's behavior with other major browsers? The current inconsistency creates cross-browser compatibility issues and forces developers to implement JavaScript workarounds.

I don't need to pin tabs, ever. Every time I try and drag a tab to the first slot, it always pins the tab, and I don't want it to do that. Is there a way to disable this stupid feature?

Developer edition seems to be blocking Today's Deals when browsing amazon.com. Regular firefox does not do this. Suggestion on what to do to fix it.

I can not use YouTube, all videos infantly buffer, I have deleted cookies and all history and it still fails, If I open a private window it works!

What is wrong?

My network is pretty fast -

• Download Speed - 76.30 mbps
• Upload Speed - 113.13 mbps
• Idle Latency - 61 ms
• Download Latency - 59 ms
• Upload Latency - 18 ms

Even though this is a pretty fast network connection, my websites on firefox take a long time to load, for example youtube takes like 2 seconds to load, and sometimes some elements of the website do not even load. This is a very annoying problem which I would like a solution for.

I had a new computer installed. The output from the speakers is almost inaudible in Firefox, but it's better on other browsers. The tech said that it's a Firefox issue, not a speaker issue--she said the speakers are OK.

Firefox abruptly factory reset itself after I turned my computer off and back on again. All of my themes, extensions, and bookmarks are gone. My phone, which was connected, is still normal and has my full search history+bookmarks.

How do I fix my computer?

since the newest Firefox update, i got today (16.09.25), the audible cloudplayer doesnt work anymore, meaning it wont load the audiobook! I emptied the cache, but nothing changed. I tried the audible cloudplayer with Windows Edge and it works fine, so it is a Firefox specific problem. I granted all websides access to audio and media automatic replay, nothing changed. The cloudplayer doesnt work! So my question is: What else is interfering in Firefox with the loading of the player? Thank you so much in advance for your help :) Yours sincerely David

I use to have at the top of my page a bottom bar that had my most frequent bookmarks..Now it is forever gone and I cannot find out how to get it back.Your new update is crashing my page constantly... I hate it,can I please have my old page back?
