I find the 4 boxes on the Contrast Control/Manage Colors settings confusing. I've tried just about everything for an issue I've had for months. When I use the automatic settings there is a dark background. Visited links pops up white (readable) and immediately changes to purple so that I can barely see it. This happens on multiple web sites. Amazon and Ebay are examples.

regardless of changing the search to google- Yahoo keeps coming up as a default. it doesn't even show as an option for search. The article u send doesn't help. I keep changing the setting and chose google - it doesn't work - maybe i should just quitting using Firefox.

my old computer had the Last Pass icon (on the Firefox browser) on the tool bar all the time. I needed to sign in regularly but I can't figure out how to get it on my new computer, on the toolbar again.

Not sure if "performance and connectivity" is the correct category. I recently bought a Mac-mini and set it up via iCloud. All seems to be working as before, except that website check boxes don't work properly. In some cases, check boxes are not visible; and when they are visible, there is no visual indication upon selecting the check box. The attached image shows two check box. Upon clicking on a circle, it does not turn black. And sometimes, the circle doesn't even display. Any help appreciated.

Ha, the checkbox below on this form "Email me when someone answers the thread" does not work show "checked" when I click on it.

Additional information on the problem of not clearing history. It takes from the tool bar at least 5 attempts to clear the Cache, cookies and past pages. The last 15KB of the system cache will not clear. Tried from Setting; Privacy and Security, said there was still 6.9MB, Cleared, check also the past pages box. Came back to the Tool Bar, still has the 15KB in Cache, but settings said there was zero. Not a critical issue at this time. Going forward when you have a response. JJE

I filled out a registration form to attend an event. At completing the form I clicked on the "submit" button - nothing. Closed the window repeated filling out the form, clicked on "submit" nothing again, no error statement. I could see the "button" react but nothing.

Shifted to another browser, the one having to do with the end of something. Filled out the form, clicked "submit" got an acknowledgement right away.

Any clues?

I would like Firefox to offer the same usability as Chrome when it comes to pinned tabs and session restoration.

In Chrome, I keep about five tabs pinned and always open. When I start Chrome, all my tabs are there, and it shows the last tab I was using. This is smart and logical because it lets me continue exactly where I left off.

Firefox, on the other hand, always jumps to a new tab on startup, even if I was working on a different pinned tab when I closed the browser.

I can’t even begin to explain how frustrating this is. I often work on multiple screens with multiple browser instances, and this behavior constantly interrupts my workflow. It’s so disruptive that I felt compelled to write this complaint.

Please fix this and allow Firefox to behave in a normal, logical way. Stop forcing a new tab to open every single time on startup, or at least give us a proper option to disable this and restore the session exactly as it was.

You’ve made it easy to import everything from Chrome, but without offering this same basic functionality, Firefox feels incomplete.

Hello! There is a problem in the Firefox browser that if you have multiple tabs open, it deactivates the tab after 5 minutes, and if you go back to that page, it has to reload.

For example: If you start a song on YouTube and open another page and start reading the news there, the music dies after 5 minutes because it deactivates the YouTube page.

How can I turn off this feature because it is a bit annoying?

Cookies and Site Data - How do I clear all except the few I want to keep, without having to go through the list and select manually each time. i.e. "Delete all except", every time I close Firefox?

For the second time in realitivly short period, bookmarks disappeared. Using the methods outlined, no luck. Click on the triple bar on right side, bookmarks, bookmark manger, import & backup, restore, that's where the trail ends

I just switched to Mozilla Firefox from Chrome, I went through the import process and while Password, Bookmarks have been imported the History however will not import at all. It says it will only import 180 days of history but it appears with a yellow triangle exclamation mark and does not even import a single day.

I successfully imported to Edge for example but again if I try to import the history from Edge to Firefox it fails.

I also tried other freshly installed Firefox based browsers and they all fail to import history from chromium browsers.

Please fix this issue.

I already did the restart, unnistal, reinstall process still not working.

I also went through threads on the internet stating to modify flags and other settings it simply fails when any Firefox Browser tried to import Chromium history.

Any guidance will be welcome.

Hi folks, I am new here. I wonder if someone could help me solve a new problem which may or may not have anything to do with Firefox itself. Let me explain: a month ago or so, I was running Firefox, and my HP laptop, 64-bit, running Win11, told me I needed to run a new update from Microsoft for my Windows. I forgot that I was running Firefox, and started the update. I live on the West coast of Florida, where there is a lot of lightning... So, right in the middle of the Windows update, lightning took out cable and internet, stopping (interrupting) the update download. The whole neighborhood was affected. Later, when internet service was restored, I re-started the Windows update. Now here's the weird thing: every minute or so, no matter what is or is not running, even before I log into my desktop with my PIN, all of a sudden an old image from a previous Firefox session, complete with tabs, pops up. It then cycles through more images, until I hit the enter button, or tap the pad, or hit escape, exiting the image. It even goes away temporarily if I move the cursor, so trying to X out does not work. A little later, it pops back up. I'm working on a novel, and it is frustrating, because this interruption derails my thought train, complete with caboose. Also, one of the images (static) is my bank page. This spooks me... Please help, someone -- anyone? Ahead of time, thank you!

Why can I not use a shortcut key to slow down or speed up speech. Some things are easy, and I want them to be read fast. Other things require some thought on hearing them, so slow down would be appropriate. And it is inconvenient to have to go inot the options for Read Aloud in order to do this. Besides which, when you go into options, you really don't know whether you have changed the speed the appropriate amount until you go back and listen to the text. As well, I listen to things in English and Spanish and need to switch speeds for these different languages."
