How to fully load a 1-hour long video directly? Now when watching videos, only a short section can be loaded, and it will stop loading after about 5 minutes. After watching the video, the subsequent content will continue to load. How to fully buffer a video in the background while pausing it?

Looking for a way to find a certain tab when I have multiple windows open which have several tabs in each. Have looked through Mozilla support and find no reference to the Move & Resize and Full Screen Tile choices on the Window tab so don't know if either would help. Mac running Sequoia 15.2 and Firefox 138.0.3

Hi, my autofill payments appear as a list when I attempt payments on websites, however, when I click on the credit card I want to use, it won't autofill. This just started happening in the last few months. It worked fine until it didn't. It's happening on all my autofill payments, so I'm unable to use them and now have to enter everything manually.

I tried to go into Firefox Privacy/Security and edit them to check if they needed additional info, but when I click "edit", nothing happens. Won't allow me to edit them either.

I have no problem with previous version of ff. i noticed ask to save password not showing up in this version. usually if i fill in a form, ff will save the information for future use.

i have issue with ff, so i uninstall and reinstall. doesnt work. i add additional information in notepad attachment.

i am end user. nothing technical. only uses ublock, clearurl and audio equaliser. not heavy user. just light browsing facebook, google and regular website.

What does this mean? being updated by another instance

Is this why my FF is running godawful slow today?

Pages coming up in 20 to 60 seconds or more instead of in a second or two.

I just got a new pc, and added Firefox, and also imported all of my bookmarks. But I don't see any way to add tiles to the new tab page. There are no Tiles there, even after 3 days. I really like having the links I visit most listed in tiles on the new tab page. Why don't I have any and how can I add them? I don't see anything the settings, and the help answers don't help because there are no tiles to right click on.

Gmail will not open with Firefox as of Wednesday 5/18/2025. I do not have any adblock extensions running.

Gmail opens fine in Chrome.

Any suggestions?

Just recently, the Bookmarks sidebar quit appearing automatically when I opened Firefox. In each new window, it can be selected manually.

I posted this thread under "Privacy and Security" because other threads on the Internet (some quite old) say this issue can be fixed by changing the Browsing history settings. I tried that, but got a strange result: the Bookmarks sidebar did appear automatically, but the webpage I was on would not display any images embedded in the page. And then I wondered: why must I eliminate Browsing History just to automatically display my bookmarks?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Installed Firefox 138.0+Linuxmint1+Virginia as an update on my Linux mint computers, and now the bookmark toolbar is gone. I have right clicked the menu bar and set Bookmark toolbar to "always show", but it does not show. I have gone into settings as well. What did version 138.0 do with my bookmark toolbar?

With the progressive rollout of tab groups having ended (I am assuming that because they are available by default in fresh installations), I would expect them to be available when I sync with my Firefox profile. However, when I sign in to the browser to sync all my settings, the option disappears. I am more interested in why the rollout never reached me than being told to enable tab groups in `about:options`. The profile switcher is also not showing up, but I am not sure if that is still in beta.

When I hold control on my Mac and click on a Tab the box that opens has no option to rename or to group the tabs together....I am running Firefox 138. Clearly I am missing something. It offers a function that would save me a lot of time, I hope you can help

I want to import web page bookmarks from MS Edge. I tried to do it per the settings help page, but I cannot get my firefox bookmarks to populate with the ones from my Edge browser. This problem is a deal breaker that may send me (under duress) back to MS Edge, and I really don't want that.

I'm running v138.0.1, but the ability to group tabs that was supposedly introduced in v137 is completely absent from my browser. I can neither drag tabs onto another to create a group, nor create groups by right clicking on a tab. What's up with that?

After updating to version 138.0, the browser put up an announcement page that informed me that I now have access to a great new feature, tab groups. It's actually a great addition to the browser IMO.

But it's absent. I read the announcement page, then the help page it links to. Every description is inapplicable to my browser, there us no drag-over behavior for tabs, there is no "add tab to new group" option when right clicking. I updated to 138.0.1, same thing. There is a topic in Connect.mozilla.org about tab groups as a beta feature, and it's been up in beta since March. But my browser does not have it.

Granted, the help page vaguely says that no all users will see this feature as it's rolled out gradually until May 6th. But why then tell me that I already have it on update? And why is it rolled out gradually if it's already been in beta?
