Hallo, ich habe im Zusammenhang mit dem Übergang zu Windows 11 das Office 2024 Pro installiert. Dabei haben sich zwei Probleme gezeigt: 1. Für das versenden von Links mit Emails habe ich in den Einstellungen "Allgemein" unter "Anwendungen.mailto" das Programm OUTLOOK (classic) in beiden von mir genutzten lokalen Konten zugewiesen. In einem der beiden Konten wird im Gegensatz zu dieser Einstellung immer zu der Aufforderung zur Verbindungsaufnahme mit einem Microsoft-Konto verlangt. Zu einer Anzeige des Outlook-Sendefensters kommt es nicht. Welche Ursache kann es dafür geben und wie kann ich das Problem beheben? 2. Wie in dem beigefügten Bild dargestellt, erscheint bei der Nutzung der mailto-Funktion in beiden lokalen Konten diese Fehlermeldung, die bei normaler Nutzung von Outlook nicht auftritt. Meine Internet-Recherche zu dieser Fehlermeldung hat leider nichts greifbares ergeben. Könnt Ihr mir weiterhelfen? MfG, R. Ziegler.

This morning Firefox stopped working for every website I attempted to access. The window shows the "Unable to connect" error. I'm currently using Edge for the Mozilla site help pages. I've tried many of the help article procedures, including: 1) Removed and re-added Firefox in the Windows Defender Firewall settings; 2) Scanned PC for Malware (Webroot SecureAnywhere, CE25.1), no threats detected; 3) Cleared recent history from Firefox. 4) Opened Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the problem persists. 5) I've also set the Network settings to "no proxy". Windows settings is set to automatically detect settings Firefox was working last night when I was installing an old version of Quicken 2015 (off-line/non-network installation). What's my next step?

About once a minute or more Firefox lag by 10-15 seconds before showing a character or characters I have typed.

It seems to be using a lot RAM. I have one window open with six tabs, including this one, and it is using nearly 8GB. There are 48 processes showing in Activity monitor.

I am using version 135 on a Mac Book Pro running MacOS 15.3 (Sequoia).

It is almost unusable.

Firefox User here since Netscape Navigator. Problem occurred with latest Firefox release as far as I can tell. This rig works flawlessly with everything but Firefox and Thunderbird Chrome and Edge have no problems. All my apps operate normally. Almost all aspects of the browser/ display window are corrupt. Chrome and Edge and all apps function without issue. Included are two screen shots In attempts to resolve this issue I have uninstalled the video driver several times, including the use of DDU. I have done a deep uninstall of Firefox, including cleaning the registry and all hidden files. I have tried the latest video driver and several earlier versions; all exhibit the same issue. I can't use Firefox and its driving me nuts. I'd like to understand why Thank you for any advice and hints in advance

No matter what I do, I cannot find my screenshots. My downloads are set to save on the Desktop (using a Mac, so this is Firefox for iOS).

PNG and JPEG are set to "Save File"

I'd attach a screenshot of my settings, but wouldn't be able to find it if I took it. ;)

I have no idea where screenshots are going. Any ideas?

Lately Facebook will not completely load in firefox. I have no issues with google chrome. It will load the first 1-2 posts then either it say Error with the wrench or just blank and flashes.

My computer had to be "factory reset" last night (I don't know if that's what it's called - but I have to re-install things like my Firefox). When I reinstalled Firefox, it populated with an older version of my Firefox's bookmarks. I have Firefox on my mobile device - and it still has the latest version of my Bookmarks.

The desktop installation prompted me to sync my devices -- but, would this old desktop prevail over my phone Firefox? Or is there a way I can make my phone Firefox replace my desktop version? (I spent about 2 hours organizing my bookmarks into folders, about 3 months ago ... and I've added tons more, of course).

I do have a Firefox Recovery Key that I took note of a year or so ago --- If there's a way to use that, will it give me the bookmarks I had up to yesterday afternoon? If so - how do I use it

I found old posts about this from 2012 or so, but nothing for current version of Firefox I have been using Firefox for years. This has suddenly started happening on my laptop. Annoyingly it also displays the same configuration pop-up with various screens you have to go through, clicking Skip this step before you can start browsing. I reset the Home Page to my preference. But next time I start Firefox it reverts to the Welcome and forgets all settings.

I am on a Mac desktop running Ventura 13.7.3 and running Firefox 135 with extension of Ghostery, Privacy Badger, Google Don't Track Me, Facebook Container, FoxClocks and SoftGreenLeaves theme. All of these extensions have been playing nicely with each other for a long time.

Recently I've been having trouble recently with Firefox doing that thing of suddenly freezing/producing multiple windows and I need to refresh in order to get it working properly again. This has happened three times in the last five days - so frequently that I now keep the refresh instructions on my desktop. Today I heard the CPU grinding and clicked open my Activity Monitor to see four listings of 'FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content' running all of them using in excess of 2Gb. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a screenshot of the Activity Monitor while this was going on as I had the Mac force quite Firefox and the moment I did, the activity stopped, but I've attached an example of the Activity Monitor showing still high CPU values for a few moments of browsing.

So what's up? How can I stop the CPU grab? How can I stop the frequent crashing?

a few months ago firefox started rendering images funky. I am not sure what changed, it seems to be a setting problem as other computers with FF 135 don't seem to do this. I have not been able to come up with the right search terms to describe the problem. here is a screen shot of the issue.

I always watched movies/shows through Firefox browser. Lately some titles are playing back like stuttering, choppy, like skipping frames. This happens on Netflix only. In titles like for instance, "The Blacklist" and "The Juror". In Chrome, they work fine. It's just on Firefox. Something happened with Firefox in one of its latest updates.

My firefox is using up too much memory, up to 60% of my laptops memory, even when I am not using youtube. and I can't figure out what is causing it to use so much. I've used minimize memory to no effect, can you figure out what is causing it? This link has a memory report to help

I have a URL: https://gnpa.org. When that URL is used, FF or something is appending /#myaccount to it by something. i.e. https://gnpa.org/#myaccount It only happens on FF. How to fix? Thanks for any ideas.

This is the biggest horse racing platform for betting in Australia. No other platform has problems to login with the TAB. However Firefox will allow me to Login but repeatedly fails after say 5 minutes, it logs me out. This means I have to go to Google to complete transactions. I also have problems with Commonwealth Bank in Australia as Firefox will allow me to Login but will not let me see "future bank transactions" and "notes". In my opinion Firefox must be able to access fully these two sites
