I cannot find a way to add websites to the location permissions in Firefox Windows PC. I can easily get to the "Location Permissions settings " but there is no way to add, only remove. When I display the access icon in the URL address bar, it shows " you have granted the website additional permissions" , but the site does not display in the FF Settings-Location Box, and the target website does allow me access based on location. Is there another area where location is restricted? would appreciate some help, thx.

When visiting HP.com - US-English site and signing in to my account, it opens fine - in English - but if I click on links, it connects to sites in a different link. I tried it on Microsoft Edge and it worked fine. It's only on Firefox that I have the problem.

Hi, I have a link in my website that opens a file in another desktop program. The link looks like this: openwith://C:/path/to/file, but after update to the latest Firefox version (v122.0) the second colon from the link is for some reason removed, resulting in a path like this: openwith://C/path/to/file. This is a problem because the path it now tries to open doesn't exist. Is this a deliberate feature in the new Firefox version or is it a bug? If it is a bug will it be fixed? It still works fine in v121.0.

The layout on the Roblox website, https://www.roblox.com Has appeared to break, I've seen the website on Google chrome and Microsoft Edge and it's good to go. I am not aware as to how this has happened. I have disabled every Addon I have, This issue is not caused by the Addons I have installed.

I want to disable Norton Safe Search. I followed Inst. Menu, add ons, extension tab, clicked the 3 dots & then delete. Restarted my computer, but it's still there. I definitely need help.

Nie mogę zalogować się na konto Gmail poprzez stronę www.google.pl w przeglądarce Firefox. Przy próbie zalogowania się przez www.google.pl pojawia się komunikat Bad Request Error 400. Ten sam problem występuje, gdy muszę potwierdzić logowanie do innych stron internetowych za pomocą konta Google. Po prostu nie da się nigdzie zalogować. Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. Moderator Firefox odpowiedział -"This does not sound like an issue with Firefox, but is something that the Google support team should be able to help you with" Na stronie www.google.com pojawia się ikona zalogowania, ale i tak nie wszystkie usługi związane z Google są dostępne. Pliki cookie są włączone. 25.12.2023 ten problem nie istniał. Próbowałam przywrócić Firefox na wcześniejszą datę instalacji, ale to nic nie dało. Rozszerzenia i wtyczki odinstalowałam. I tried clearing cache and temp files. I tried a new profile. I tried a fresh install without logging in on account. Tried disabling all addons, running in safemode and incognito. Nothing works.

When opening in Chrome, it works as always. Same computer.

Just like the Android version of Firefox does! It opens the new tab(s), but load each tab at visit!

Desktop Firefox also does this at [History / Restore Previous Session]. All the previously opened tabs are opened again, but each of them only loads at visit.

This is I would like to have as default behaviour with newly opened tab(s) in Firefox. > Tab opens. > It hasn't loaded yet! > At visit it loads the content.

PS: I tried, but didn't work: > about:config _ browser.sessionstore.restore*demand (switch) > Addon _ LoadTabOnSelect 3 (But it worked weirdly.)

I have changed Firefox's settings to both Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed and to Clear history when Firefox is closes. But after making these changes Firefox is still holding onto my browsing history.

macOS (and I assume Windows and Linux as well) supports local URL schemas. For instance, Apple supports the "applefeedback://" URL as a way to launch the macOS Feedback Assistance app.

If I have a link to this on a web page, or if I put it in a bookmark, Firefox will ask for confirmation and will then launch Feedback Assistant. This part works great.

But if I type that URL into the location bar, Firefox always sends it to my configured search engine. It doesn't recongize it as a valid URL. And in the popup list of suggestions, there is no option to just go there and not search for it. See the attached screen shot.

I don't want to disable location-bar searching altogether, because it is really useful, but I think there should be a way, on a case-by-case basis, to tell Firefox that I really want it to treat the entire text as a URL. The simplest approach is probably to have an extra row on the popup suggestion list that I can click on to open the text as a URL or produce an error if there is nothing in Firefox or the OS that can resolve it.

Hopefully this won't be too difficult to support. I think it would be extremely useful.

What the title says, and unfortunately I'm not sure why. If a theme isn't perfectly looped, it's...really noticeable. And I hate how ugly some themes turn out as a result. I don't want to start sticking my hands directly into firefox's advanced settings, since I don't know much about them and don't want to risk accidentally deleting or messing with something important, but I'd really like to get this fixed somehow... Is it just the themes I'm picking? Are they supposed to all be skewed off to the side? Or is something off with my browser? Maybe my resolution's weird or something...?

I have Firefox version 100.0 (64-bit) and version 122.0.1 (64-bit) installed somehow. Both versions when you click on Help>About Firefox say they are up to date.

I can uninstall the 122.0.1 version. I cannot uninstall the 100.0 version.

100.0 says it is up to date but in the top right corner there is a box that says: Update available Firefox couldn't update automatically. Download the new version - you won't lose saved information or customizations.

If I tell it to download I get the 122.0.1 version installed separately from the 100.0 version.

How do I get only ONE installation of Firefox?

I thought I had two different accounts. Home, with my personal email and work, with my work email. My work computer crashed a few months ago, and out IT department was able to recover all my bookmarks, but it wasn't easy, so I was told. I decided to do what I do at home and that was to create an account for work, which I did. I now have an account for home with it's own bookmarks, and email, and a work account with it's own bookmarks and totally different email. I recently got a work phone. In the process of setting it up I synced it up with my work account. when I came home tonight I got online and all my work bookmarks were on my home computer. How did this happen? Now I don't have my home bookmarks. I tried signing out and signing back in with my home account, but no luck. This is very frustrating especially since they are two totally different accounts. SO, how do I get my home bookmarks back on my home computer? Thanks

Hi, this is the same issue as as described here for Mozilla Thunderbird: 64bit Thunderbird issues with 64bit PKCS#11 drivers

– Firefox 122.0 (64-bit) – Windows 11 Pro 64bit (– Thunderbird 64bit)

Even though, I use a 64bit version of Firefox, it is not able to load any 64bit PKCS#11 module for security devices. Tried on several different PCs and several different 64bit PKCS#11 drivers for different smart cards.

When I try to load e.g. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\eop2v1czep11.dll for the Czech eID, it returns "Unable to add module". When I do the same from C:\Windows\System32\eop2v1czep11.dll, it works.

The issue is that some issuers of qualified and commercial certificates (like e.g. Komerční banka) do not issue a 32bit version of PKCS#11 drivers for their smart cards anymore and the only driver available is C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mopkcs11.dll, which cannot be loaded by Firefox or Thunderbird either.

I don't see a problem in implementing the support for 64bit PKCS drivers in a 64bit browser and a 64bit email client. And if it does have the support, then there is something wrong going on.

Hi, Avast Antivirus keeps giving me this warning every few minutes. I have never visited the site in the URL and it seems to keep appearing regardless of anything I do. Is anyone else getting this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

AdBlock has not made any updates for Firefox for eleven months. Do they just not care, or has Mozilla rejected them? The internet is terrible enough as it loves to scam all users on all sites.
