Hi, I recently needed to wipe my drive and reinstall my windows install. Since i was connected to a Firefox account and enabled sync i thought that all my extensions and bookmarks would show up when i logged back in on my newly reset computer. But problem is that i just logged in and nothing is sync, i lost everything! Is there any way to get it back somehow or is everything lost?
Thank you!

Hi everyone.
Since updating to the latest version of Firefox, I can't see anything displayed on the Youtube website.
When I open a tab and navigate to Youtube, I can see faint grey placeolders in the background, but no images or text (screenshot attached).
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks.
Hello, after the recent update, the default keyboard shortcut for screenshot (Ctrl+Shift+S) stop working. Any ideas how to fix this?

This is very very weird... and its only on firefox, no issue for chrome or safari. Happened just a few days ago. Don't remember installing anything. Could be malfare from a font site?

I recently reset my password for my Walmart account. After doing this, I logged out and attempted to log back in.
Strangely, the log in page appeared more as a "create account" page, that is to say, it asked for an email, my full name, and to create a password.
I called support while still sitting on the page, we reasoned that if I tired to "create account" with my existing email that I was using, logically, i would get an error saying that I already had an account using that email, so I continued and to my surprise--I logged in.
However, I cannot view any of my personal information, nor the items I had saved in my cart or any type of payment information.
Mind you, I had an conflict with the Feb update to Firefox and Walmart which was similar except that I can see the image of a cart on the cart and purchase history page, at that time there were no images, but it seemed to sort itself out over a couple of hours.
As with that error, I logged into Walmart with Chrome, using the new password and am able to view all my information. I can also log into the ap with my new password, and view all my information. I simply can't log into it with Firefox and see anything, it's almost as if did create a new accoiunt, except that I can log in with the new password and view all my information in Chrome and the ap on myh phone.
To sum it up, I changed the password in Firefox, the new password works in all three cases except in Firefox I cannot view my personal information.
I do not have a screenshot of the page when I first tried to log back in with Firefox, though it was odd and somewhat unexpected.d The only way to change my password now is in Chrome, or the ap, so I cannot say if that screen would appear again or not or what would happen.
Nevertheless, I understand that Walmart.com has become a "known issue" for a lot of people. I contacted, supposedly, their IT support and was told that it would probably fix itself, more or less.
Still, I thought to post this just in case.
Thank you.

I have just updated Firefox, and I am not able to scroll at all. My mouse wheel does not work and the mousepad scrolling does not either, but I am still able to scroll by pressing down the scroll wheel (image below). I am able to scroll on all other applications and I was able to scroll on the 'Which topic best describes your question?' mini-menu, I'm just not sure why I can't do it on here. Thanks!
Please someone respond. spent 2 hours asking the above question! I don't want to leave but you do not help!

After updating to Firefox 110 (snap running under Ubuntu Studio 22.04) I get "No synced logins found". The settings still show me logged in to my Firefox account and my synced bookmarks are still there. The saved logins are still there in my Firefox 110 installation running under Windows 10. A similar problem was reported here: Surface Pro 8 recently had No Synced Logins Found while other devices do not have this issue but I am opening a separate thread because the OP gives the impression that this is platform-specific. I am afraid to do anything in the Firefox installation under Ubuntu, for fear of overwriting (i.e. deleting) the saved logins which I can still access on my Windows installation. How should I proceed?

It's suppose to open a blank page. I set my preferences to open a blank page for a new tab. This never happened before until I updated my Firefox. I am using 110.0 Firefox browser on my Mac. I am running Mac OS 10.15.7
Never had this problem before and I did a clean install.

Like the title states - now have to scroll back down through all the bookmarks in a folder because it no longer holds its place. This is a great time waster.
Thought I would try to save some time by opening bookmarks in new tabs, but it then switches to the new tab immediately and I still have to scroll back through the same folder to open the next bookmark.
Is there a fix for this issue?

Hello,
this problem started happening around 3 or 4 days ago.
Usually, at the end of the day or before I close Firefox, I "delete browsing history" BUT only the "today" history. I know it's a weird habit (lol), but at least it logs me out of all recent browsing while keeping my sessions with older websites active (typically these older websites include stuff that I use frequently like Outlook, Google/Youtube, Twitter & other social media, Spotify, and a few other sites).
The other reason I do this is that I like my "recent history" to be ordered the way I like, so I can use it kind of like a "bookmark list".
The problem: Since about 4 days ago, each time I "delete history", ALL my accounts are signed out. Note that I don't have the option to delete cookies upon closing checked, and whenever I close Firefox without deleting history the sessions appear to be active.
I think 3 or 4 days ago there was a Firefox update? I remember at the time I was shown the extra tab with the release notes, but I didn't pay much attention. However when I noticed the issue, which was the day after, I assumed it was a new feature of the update that caused all these websites not to recognise my browser and thus ask me to log in again.
So just before going to bed, I tried 1) clearing my history for the day as I usually do, except 2) instead of closing directly after, I would go to the sites I want to remain logged in (in this case I just did Outlook, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok and Spotify), log into my accounts, and then close the browser.
So the following day, it worked "as usual"... almost... that is because when I deleted my history of the day, it logged me out of everything again. But in the "recent history" list, it showed the updated list (with the websites I re-logged into the day before).
So I can't guess what is happening, other that something is messing with my cookies each time I delete history. I even went to check manually to see if I still had the session cookies stored in Firefox and it appears to be the case.
Yesterday I also tried logging into a Google, waiting a few hours, and only deleting the history of the past hour, but the same thing happens, I instantly get logged out.
Additional info: when I "delete history" I only check the first five options (those under history) and not the lower two (under data).
Thanks for your help, and sorry for my English !

Have to keep scrolling bookmarks folders from the top instead of being able to pick up where I left off LIKE IT USED TO BE.
Also, instead of being able to right click and open bookmarks in new tabs to try and speed things up, it immediately switches to the new tab, which means having to scroll from the top of the folder AGAIN anyway. And yes, I'm well aware of the "switch to it immediately" option in the settings menu, and that box is UNCHECKED in my settings.
I'm not the only one complaining about this time waster, yet no replies from support on any of the threads.

I am using Firefox Developer Edition Version: 110.0b5 (64-bit) on M1 Mac running Ventura 13.1.
I am building an webapp some XHR triggering in background but it is not necessary to run the application (running fine on other browsers). But on Firefox Developer Edition, It shows a error window with the message and stops loading the application.
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost:4000.
localhost:4000 is the failing XHR request domain. I have attached the screenshot.
How to ignore the XHR failing errors just like other browsers?

Then, once I opened up some kind of offline documentations from Libre Office or Latex, which opened in Firefox. You know, the one where there is no tab appeared, and it just seems like a single pop-up window. I closed it without thinking.
Long enough, i forgot about that and opened up Firefox only to be met with that docs again. Okay, i closed it. But Firefox always started in this kind of pop-up window style ever since (attached). Changing the preference, even deleting the profile doesn't seem to do a thing.
Any recommendation to return Firefox to its original set?

I am using DuckDuckGo with Firefox because I do not like auto suggestions filling up the search bar while I type. It's so annoying. I have ensured that Settings do not have auto complete in any way, but still they come. The only solution I can find on this website, which is Stop Auto Search in Firefox
There is a preference to change that back, but it does take a bit of work to find it because of the unusual name: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk. (2) In the search box in the page, type or paste handoff and pause while the list is filtered (3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar preference to switch the value from true to false Success?
I had no success with it at all. Please, how can I stop this wretched feature? Thanks.
