I have set firefox to clear the cache on shutdown. It does not work. Every night I shutdown and reopen in order to clear the cache manually. It does not work. I was always left with 38kb. Now it's 63kb. What can I do other than dump firefox and find an alternative browser?

I am about to drop Firefox for another browser. I have added Total AdBlocker yet popups still creep through. Now with MSN.com my home page, some of the Video Boxes are blank but if I go to Chrome they show complete.

I'm on FF 107 and I tried on multiple machines and networks. Firefox doesn't seem to clear inputted text in textarea elements on regular site refresh (click on reload button or F5 or Ctrl+R) anymore. Entered text is persistent througout reload. A reload with cache refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Shift+Reload button) enforces the reset of the data or if website is reopened.

Should be testable e.g. on that site: https://www.javatpoint.com/html-textarea Enter some additional text in the textarea under Output: and then reload, the entered text stays as is

This is very unexpected behavior and very annoying. Please help!

I accidentally assigned Twitter to a specific container ("Always Open This Site in..."), and cannot find the unassign option ANYWHERE. This shouldn't be this hard to locate, it should be as simple as the assigning process is.

Hi, I just want to get rid of this picture in picture feature. If I click to see a video & scroll down I dont want to get the video at the bottom right. I just want the video to stop so I can click on another video if I want. I dont like this feature. I tried different things however nothing work. Do you have a solution?

What I already did: In the Firefox about:config I changed many settings to false however I still have the issue. See image of my settings in the attachment. The site I tested: https://www.meteomedia.com/ca

Recently I have had difficulty completing online purchases. Specifically a purchase from Equifund, an investing company. I was using the Firefox browser, which I like, and I could not connect Equifund to my bank account nor get it to sign off with my credit card. They recommended Google Chrome and I had no problem. Homepage set by domain administrator is really slow to open, and itis seach box is to search at the site, not a web search engine

after reinstalling Firefox, i no longer am able to log into any websites example: you tube, sites, etc. I've check for updates but there's none besides my current version of Firefox which so am in a weird predicament. please help thanks!

I have two connected problems, the first is that every time I opne a pdf in Firefox, it downloads it whether I want it to or not. I've checked my settings and as far as I can tell, it *should* be just opening them in a new tab.

The second (more frustrating) thing is that my downloads seem to be disappearing from my download library in Firefox? The files themselves are safe on my computer, but I have to go hunting through where I've saved them instead of just accessing them from the downloads window tab thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lately I'm getting a pop-up on my laptop and iphone offering to log in via my Google account. I don't have a Google account, and all the help articles I find just tell people how to disable that. I have cookies set to Strict, I've cleared the cache, made sure things are updated, and I still get this annoying pop-up. I've got various add-ons installed. AdGuard, ClearURLS, Cookie Autodelete, Decentraleyes, UBlock Origin, Disable HTML5, Facebook Container, Flash Control, and HTTPS Everywhere. I'm open to suggestions on where to go from here. Frustrating for this to just start suddenly, and having to find a way to disable it.

Lately every time you release an update you break something in how Amazon is displayed. Not on all pages, the initial main page is fine, but if you try and view any lists or past purchases the display is unreadable. I've noticed this in the past, but this time it happened right after your last update, so I conclude that's where the problem lies. The attached screenshot is of my Amazon Wishlist. If you have one of those you'll notice the appreaence is way off. And BTW I was trying to delete the list, or perform any of the other actions that result in those warnings. Thank you.

I am suddenly getting a message, "access denied to this server". It does not happen using a different browser. This just started happening. Any advice appreciated! Thanks

Just before protection against ads expired, the icon's "X" went black. Now that I've renewed, it has not changed the "X" on the shield to white indicating renewal.
