Hello This morning, Firefox would not open via the desk top short cut. Choose the open via 'run as an Administrator'. Nothing.

Although I had cleaned cache etc the night before I cleaned it all again with Ccleaner.

Shut down the computer and restart.

Firefox did open, the menu bar shows but.... All Bookmark pages I tried to open are blank, white screens.

I am on Goggle now in order to connect. Appreciate your help

Nothing returns to my screen when I search via duckduckgo. If i enter google.com, bringing up google search, google works fine. I can to to the duckduckgo.com website. As mentioned in the subject, duckduckgo is my only defined search option.

I need to know (in layman's language) how to fix the sight connection problem. For example: I try to connect to Google.ca. Firefox comes back saying this site is not secure. Use HTTPS. This is where it is so confusing. I am sure that the Google site is a secure sight. So why does Firefox keeps rejecting me. It can become very frustrating really.

This issue is new and I have never experienced it before. Upon trying to open anything in a new tab, firefox gets completely stuck loading the site, and when refreshed, does the tab becomes "dead" and nothing can be entered or clicked on, even after minutes. I know it is not my internet connection, as other browsers such as opera and edge work, as well as my ability to download games from steam, and firefox is also up to date as shown by the settings page, but firefox does not allow anything to be opened or viewed other than the settings page, which I used to navigate to the support page. I could not even use "continue with google" as a method of signing in and needed to manually enter everything.

I'm on windows 11 and firefox 131.0.2. I have been sent a couple of survey site recently asking for feedback, but they don't open using firefox. I initially thought the problem was with the site, but this morning when I had the problem with firefox I used MS Edge and it opened. The survey today was on https://survey2.medallia.eu, and it just sits there with the circle spinning and never gives an error message.

Any ideas on what's going on?

I use Firefox as my default PDF Viewer. However recently the Ctrl + Scroll wheel doesn't zoom in and out on PDFs intermittently. It always works on web pages, and Ctrl + +/- works to zoom every time.

I've seen a few times this has been brought up on various forums when googling, but none with a real solution.

It is not specific to a PDF file, I've had it work and then not work in the same file in the same session, and the same behavior in many PDF files. I believe this to be a Firefox issue, not anything related to my setup.

I've been working on an issue with one of my customers. They've reported poor audio quality and we narrowed down the issue to most likely being: https://issues.webrtc.org/issues/42220269

We've been trying to find out if Firefox will or would exhibit the same issues. However, when I dug into this it appears Firefox utilizes a forked implementation of webrtc.org and it's not clear how closely coupled if at all the Firefox WebRTC implementation is to webrtc.org.

Our issue is related to AEC3 (Echo canceller algorithm) I can't quite figure out if AEC3 is leveraged by Firefox or not.

Would someone be able to help me confirm how close the implementation of webrtc matches webrtc.org and whether or not AEC3 is implemented?

I need status bar to appear immediately when hovering on the link and tried the "browser.overlink-delay = 0" command which did nothing,maybe I'm not understanding something. Please help,thx for your time

For the past couple years, whenever I use the copy image feature the pasted outcome is always minimally brightened just enough that it's noticeable. Copying and pasting of the outcome brightens it again, and if I keep going the resulting image will be one big white square. This isn't the end of the world, more of an inconvenience as all I've had to do is switch to taking a screenshot of the image instead, but I do miss being able to just properly copy the image. The brightened effect is present no matter where I paste it, whether on another website or on a completely separate app, and other browsers I've tried on the same Mac don't have this problem. Is there a way for me to fix this? I already followed the support instructions for a different yet somewhat related pasting problem where I set gfx.color_management.mode to 0, and that had no effect. Is there anything else?

Ordinarily, I use Facebook to login to a particular website/app, but now it keeps telling me that it can't process my request. This does not happen on the other browser that I use. After I exit out of the error message, a Facebook login page shows up, sometimes looking normal, sometimes not. Through all this, I see three different error messages basically saying the same thing. I figure this must be some kind of hacking attempt because some of the error messages are unrecognizable as legit from Facebook.

How do I disable/make the context/right click menu appear as the normal mouse context/right click menu?

As you can see the touch menu is huge and since I'm a quite nimble touch-user, I don't need it.

I haven't been able to find any solutions when searching. I'm used to editing both about:config and userchrome.css.

I want to print a PDF with a document size of about 4x2cm. When I choose "Default" Margins, the document is printed in the correct size, but without any margins. When I choose "Minimum" Margins, the document is printed with acceptable margins (12mm left, 4mm top), but the document is only printed in about 50% (or even less) size. Scale is set to 100 each (assuming those are percent) This is also visible in the print preview.

For the second printer, same issue (at least on print preview, didn't actually print) No issue (in print preview) when selecting "Microsoft Print to PDF" When choosing "OneNote (Desktop)" printer, the image is even smaller.

Tested around with custom margins a bit and it handles even worse. With my primary printer with 0.5 inches (defaults?) set, the size is ok but no margins are applied. Headers and footers are not shown (so the checkbox is checked - for some unknown reason) - Changing top margin to 0.49 or 0.51, the document is not shown, but the headers and footers are. Setting all margins to 0.00, both document and headers and footers are shown, but all overlapping / within the 4x2 document (paper size is set to Letter). Increasing the top margin (all others on 0.00) now makes the document shrink even more (Print preview, I didn't actually print)

I'm experiencing a problem with browsing the My Network page on LinkedIn - it is cramped to the left of the window. Nothing seems to help (zooming in, clearing cash, etc.). This doesn't occure anywhere else.

In full screen mode, the bottom of the window is hidden under the task bar at the bottom of the screen. The scroll bar bottom and pages that use the full screen (e.g., they have buttons at the very bottom of the screen) get hidden and therefore aren't accessible to use. This is incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. I don't remember this happening before. Is this part of a faulty Firefox upgrade. How can I fix this?

I keep getting "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." It's the only browser that gives this error.

Nothing fixes the issue. It's the only software on my new system that gives any error reaching any site. Randomly it fails. I had to use Chrome to finish this support ticket because in the process I received;

I am having trouble navigating FF's bookmark sub-menus.

For example, when moving horizontally from a menu to a sub-menu if I inadvertently mouse over the menu above or below the one I'm on I am redirected to that menu's sub-menus. The issue is explained well in this (now very old) post: https://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=358006

As the solution seemed to work for the author of that post I'd like to try the same. What happened to the ui.submenuDelay about:config setting - is it now called something else?
