i have a mozilla account i tried to login with my username and password but its asking a code sent in email unfortunately i dont have access to email i thought creating account in mozilla is enough as all my passwords are synced there and password of the email is also synced in this mozilla account need to login for getting the passwords

I've recently begin to receive pop-up notifications from Facebook, but when I choose to stop them, it doesn't. It takes me to Facebook and the notifications keep coming. How do I stop them?

Touch ID is working for all sites except Apple sites. Apple sites say "Your browser must be updated to use touch ID". I can sign in to these sites with touch ID using other browsers so it appears to be an issue with Firefox

I see a youtube video ready to play when I open my wifi icon on the taskbar. Only happens when Firefox has Youtube open in a tab and I've watched at least one video in preview mode or on the video page. I really wish to turn it off if I can.

Have 4 Gmail accounts... after repeated opening and closing one or two on my IMac, suddenly Gmail will not open login page. if I close Firefox and reopen it, all is fine. Tried several solutions including elimination of extensions, clearing cache, etc. all work for a few days then problem returns. Imac running Tahoe 26.4, Firefox auto update turned on. Wish to avoid creating separate Gmail pages.. I open Gmail from my bookmarks at top. TPlease try to keep it simple... I am an senior and OK with basic technology and wife (who has one of the Gmail accounts) is more limited in tech skills. Thanks

I’ve just setup my Mac (Tahoe 26.3.1) again as it was compromised.. Now, I was very vary of which applications, apps, logs, certificates, …. etc are installed // running.

Unfortunately, I’ve crashed my Firefox browser as I’ve seen weird names on the settings section -> certificates. I’ve just deleted them…. Once I was done, I couldn’t load any website anymore. Now, I’ve opened up a new profile (Main Profile), migrated passwords, bookmarks and checked the main settings (not touching the certificates…). The Original Profile & Profile 2 are obsolete.

Result: I can load websites again, have my bookmarks and access everything needed but now, I can’t sign back in into my Mozilla Firefox account to keep syncing everything between my Iphone, Mac and my account (just in case I’m crashing it again..).

Issue Remaining: When I’m trying to sign in entering my email address the ERROR: “Unexpected error” comes up… That wasn’t the case beforehand.

Anybody with a potential solution or steps and settings for an idiot to check if they’re correct?

All of a sudden, Firefox for Android has been using about 1GB of data daily. My Data Usage monitor says it is almost all Foreground data.

I barely use Firefox for watching videos or streaming anything, especially when not on WiFi.

I run two extensions — Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin, both of which I would assume should be saving me data by blocking ads and trackers.

Data collection settings are set to Off. Autoplay is blocked for audio and video. Stories (sponsored or not) and sponsored Shortcuts are disabled. Tabs open for 2+ weeks are automatically moved to Inactive.

Probably the wrong topic, but I can't access two NY Times daily puzzles for the last couple of months after using them with this browser for more than a year before that on this pc and this browser.

I receive the message "Non-compliant action. The current operation is blocked by your IT administrator. Click 'OK' to continue." when going to https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html. That URL works fine on Edge, but I like to keep all my personal activity on Firefox and use Edge for my consulting work with clients.

Similarly, but not quite the same, Connections (https://www.nytimes.com/games/connections?GAMES_connectionsRollout_1130=1_ConnectionsV2) displays non-HTML formatted text, see added image.

Working my way through all NYT puzzles, 2 give non-HTLM text while the rest give the "Non compliant action error".

I would appreciate your help.

Hello, I accidentally clicked on a new toggle button and it opened a Google sidebar. I also now do not have the ability to have multiple tabs open on the same browser. If I clcik on command-T (Mac), the screen goes dark. What happened? Can I get my old system back, without this Google sidebar?

This is the message I get when trying to login to my Costco account: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).

I already have Firefox on my laptop and via Mozilla I was asked again to install Firefox. Furthermore I always got the question that I should use it as standard browser. I have no idea what else should I do in that case. If I would install again Firefox, I will lose all the paid apps which run already on the current version. So I am really very confused about the characteristics of this Firefox installation and the strange requests by Mozilla to install Firefox.

I would be delighted if you could me support with checks to find out about the nature of the current Firefox installation or a simple de- and reinstallation instruction of Firefox (and keeping the paid apps like Ad Blocker...).

when my Firefox window is active on Macbook Air Sequoia 15.7.3 if I open a second app, calculator for example, the Firefox window reduces in size and snaps to the side of the screen. I want that behavior to stop. I want the calculator to overlay the full size Firefox window. How to achieve that?

This just happened, (45 minutes). When I attempt to access a page or a file, when the page comes up on screen, it is a page of numbers and symbols. How do I remove these pages??

I need help with annoying pop-ups. I followed instructing. It only say allow, not block, when I go to settings, security & privacy, checked block pop-ups and third party redirects.
