System: Windows 11 Browser version: 136.0 64-bit

I'm experiencing an issue where the "Addon Manager" extension component has failed, causing the drag-and-search function, the address bar QR code feature, and the restore closed tabs feature to all become non-functional. These are arguably some of the most important features that enhance browsing efficiency on the PC version compared to the mobile version. Their malfunction severely impacts the overall browsing experience. I hope improvements can be made.

I've got Firefox with 4 adblockers: AdBlocker Ultimate, AdLock, Element Blocker and uBlock Origin. Still, https://www.youtube.com/c/franceinfo/live (news channel) sneaks ads before and after the weather forecasts. "C'était la météo avec Florette" (you watched the weather forecast with Florette salad sauce - of course I didn't!).

I can't find how to get rid of it. Please advise.

Hello, I occasionally go into the Firefox Extensions Manager and request it to check for updates. Today, I happened to notice that my extension for NordVPN was quite old (Version 5.2.2), and I was not able to get it to update. Therefore, I removed that extension and downloaded it again, which installed the latest Version 5.6.2. Is this a bug in Firefox? I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on macOS Monterey 12.7.6. Thanks!

Hi there. Ian here. My home page "www.news.com.au" keeps wanting to lock me out due to apparent addblockers on my PC. I am not aware of any that I have installed and can't find a way to remove them or turn them off. I am also not sure if this is a healthy consideration in any case. Can you Help me please.

One computer I have when opening Firefox automatically has me logged into all my gmail accounts. The one I am currently using will not allow this, what do I need to do to have automatic login to gmail?

There are many Recommended extensions that are doing so very shady things (collecting user data that shouldn't be necessary for the task the extension is doing, storing user data, sharing data with less then trustworthy 3rd parties, using bullying tactics to get people to subscribe and so on). Many of these extensions change their privacy policies or their monetization practices after you've given them a Recommended badge and you then blissfully continue to suggest the extension after these changes.

When I open the view filters page in the adguard extension I can't find the close option to get out of it and I have to exit it from task manager in order for it to close.

It's addon page has a link for "Support Email', but first I get this, then it opens up a Outlook Interface for me to set up account.

I just want to get an email address. Is that possible?

I appreciate the "Translate Selection To" in the right click context menu is in Beta. For me it works but not as well as it might. For example, I am English, my laptop is set to English, I am viewing a website in English but it has some foreign text on it, so I hightlight the text, right click and I am offered to "Translate Selection To ... Slovenian" Why???

I then have to tell it the language of the source/highlighted text and I have to tell it I want the result in English. I can accept it might not recognise the language of the source text but it is very annoying that it assumes I want it converted to Slovenian instead of the systems default language.

To make it worse, having changed the languages to those I want, it doesn't remember them and the next time I use it I'm back to square one.

This would be a really useful feature if only it was logical.
