I have reloaded mozilla firefox twice and I'm still having the issue that if I ask it to print or print preview it locks up and I have to go to Task Manager and get out of it. I can print fine from word or excel.

I cannot find an old Firefox folder. I have looked in profile and found 2 logins.json files, dated 21.03 & 09.03, the earlier says corrupt, have copied both together with the sqlite file. How do I open these files to check them ? Tried Firefox in Safe Mode, still no logins. Help would be appreciated, thank you

Where did I see that article on XYZ. I'd like to regain a train of thought/investigation. Is bookmarks and history all there is? In reading about "Activity Stream" this seemed like the solution but it seems to lack an awareness of clustered, goal-directed activity. Is "Top Sites" and "Highlights" all there is to Activity Stream? Looking for some deeper integration/intelligence around re-displaying my history.

having BSOD for kernel mode trap and each time i try a fix which may take consecutive restart Fire fox come back up has been reinstalled and erase all my saved sites in my favorite neither will let m e export them so I lose them. I do school research and this is a constant set back

First thanks for all the help with ff when I had a dying system. Now setting up ff 59.0.2 on a windows 10 box and need a basic bit of information.

In the previous version I had I could type for instance, 'imdb' and hit ENTER then I'd be taken right to the imdb page. Now a search engine page opens up. Only way I can go directly to a site is if I type the entire address as in, http://www.imdb.com/ Either one of these ways of navigating are an inconvenience.

What do I have to do to get ff to a state where I can type the site name, say tigerdirect, hit ENTER and go right to http://www.tigerdirect.com/ ?

The firefox logo pops back to the apps logo list when I try to drag it down. I may have created a problem when I made a second Firefox and tried to drag it, too. On my screen it was called Firefox Alias. I dragged it to trash.

I am seeing this issue in a lot of other threads and am having it myself. Unfortunately the only solution suggested is resetting the sync password and then repairing each computer individually. As a system admin with my bookmarks synced to roughly 150 computers, I think I'll pass on that solution and switch back to chrome. I prefer firefox in nearly every other way, so if a manageable solution becomes available I'd love to hear about it. Thanks.

Every once in a while, I go back and try something that worked in older versions of FF -- accepting some cookies and not accepting others.

In the current version, 59.0.3, I go to options, security and scroll down, I've added yahoo to my Exceptions to "allow" rather than "allow for session" and then set the general setting "keep until they expire". Now, this setup seems to be a way to whitelist only those sites I want to allow cookies, expiring others when I close FF -- as that's the most control I now have, the "ask every time" being gone. However, when I close FF and re-open, it hasn't kept the yahoo cookies as the exception implies it should.

How can I customize which cookies stay past the session and which don't?

I install the lasted Firefox on my macbookpro iOSX Mojave. Firefox worked well after 10 minutes and freeze. I tried to quit Firefox but not worked (using force quit, terminal...) Just turn off macbook and turn on again then Firefox worked. But after that the problem still there. Thanks

I suggest you offer a browser that is easier for me to understand.

My computer was destroyed when I installed the Windows 1903 update.

Then I accidentally deleted all my files ,and I didn't have a hard disk backup

Is it possible you can send me all my bookmarks from 12 months ago

Or give me instructions on how to recover without being too complicated

Every time, when Graphics Card stop working and graphics adapter reset FireFox crash computer to blue screen of death. This trouble appear 3-4 month ago and contunue constly crash my system

Pretty much as in my query.Everything works ok,surfing,vid dld,(except for Ant vid dlder) etc,but I can't use the google search box because of the "problem loading page" message which suggests that I have the wrong url for that page..Thing is,I don't know if there was a FFx update in the update of 3 days ago.Never had this problem before in about 6 yrs of using FFx. Downloadhelper for vids works ok though.That's about all really.

After a recent update on my Linux/Ubuntu system, all select > options have a background color of black and the text enlarged to almost double the size (background and text size for the select boxes were not affected). IE, Chrome, and even the edition of Firefox on my wife's computer were not affected and are still showing the options with a proper white background with reduced type size. What gives? The website is bhardin-rps.com. I tried to post a screen shot, but it won't upload.

Since Firefox about 52, I have tabs crashing like hell a lot (Linux Mint 18.1, 64-bit). It used to be good before, but knowing that I have faulty RAM with holes, I wonder, if it's anyhow related. Nothing else crashes that often. If Firefox uses checksum for some memory blobs, this might fail and result in crash.

So my question: is it using and if it is, is it possible to disable this.

Ubuntu14.04 + FF57 I only do local un-signed addon. I replaced my addon xpi file under FF extension directory with an link to the original xpi file which is in my project folder. After I updating the original xpi file, how can I reload this addon on the fly, i.e. without restarting FF?
