Every week, for work, I need to download at least one large video file from Microsoft OneDrive and then upload it to YouTube. (These are MP4s in the range of 200 - 800 MB.) For the last couple of months, maybe longer, the download keeps failing in Firefox. When I switch to Chrome, the same MP4 downloads with no problem.
Any idea what might be going on? Usually the file starts downloading just fine; I see the bar gradually filling up in the notification area, but then it suddenly stops and says "Failed." If I retry, the same thing just happens again.
I'm not using any kind of download manager (that I'm aware of), just relying on Firefox's default download behavior when I click on the "Download" link on the OneDrive web page (sample URL: https://olucdenver-my.sharepoint.com/personal/YADA_YADA/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx?id=LONG_QUERY_STRING_HERE).

Hello, Every time I restart Firefox or it crashes or power cuts or anything, place.sqlite file gets corrupted and I have to replace the new file with the .corrupt file. This has been happening for over a year now, but my computer is always on and I turn it off maybe once every 4-5 months unless I'm forced to restart by a software or by power cuts or stuff. Lately I have been having issues with my Windows and I have to restart my computer quite often and it is very annoying. This happens whether I close Firefox with the X or using the Exit button or even if I keep it open and restart the computer. My places file is 75MBs. I have the same one since 2014. I'm using Windows 10 and latest Firefox edition. Any ideas?

I'm trying to access my Apple ID (appleid.apple.com). When I select "Sign In" the page hangs and never displays the fields to enter my user name and password. The message I get is "This action could not be completed because of an error. Try again or check back later."
Under Settings > General > Network Settings I selected No proxy and I disabled DNS over HTTPS. But neither of these actions made a difference.
Eventually, I had to use Microsoft Edge to access my account.
Any ideas?

While using Yahoo email I tried to access the 'Notepad' page and get a message saying to Download a new version of Firefox to see the 'Calendar' even though I was trying for the 'Notepad' not the 'Calendar'. If I try for the 'Calendar' I initially get the small right-sidebar version fine but if I ask for the full page version I get the error message again. This does not happen if I access Yahoo through Chrome-browser. I have repeatedly done the download to no avail. (I have version 99.0.1). I am attaching a screenshot of the error message. Typing anything in URL (address) bar causes my CPU spike to 15-20% shown in Windows Task Manager, and up to 80% shown in Firefox Task Manager. I have 8 core / 16 threads CPU running at 4.0 GHz, so typing text in browser taking 15-20% of that is rather bizarre to me. OS: Windows 10 What I tried: - disabling Firefox Accessibility Service - hardware acceleration on/off - troubleshooting mode
Don't have same issue in other browsers (Chrome, Opera) Any ideas what else that might be?

Ever since Firefox updated to the new version I've been having constant crashes. I've tried restarting in Safe Mood which doesn't help. Pretty much Firefox will open, say it's not responding, and then by the time it looks like it's about to restore my tabs it crashes. I had to do a refresh and transferred the backup files from an older session which worked, but then it eventually crashed again. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and tried opening my older profile but it keeps happening. I really need to restore my previous session. There's nothing with my computer that seems to be causing it. I did have 2 windows open with about 8,000 tabs total which I'm sure could be part of the reason, but it never really had trouble before and only just started crashing since the update. Is there any way to fix this without starting over? I read that this is a bug that others have dealt with previously.

Couple days ago Yahoo Mail stopped downloading attachments of any type. Only happens when using Mozilla. Yahoo mail works fine with edge and android. The following had no affect: (1) signing out and in to yahoo mail. (2) Clearing cache etc in Mozilla (3) rolling back recent windows updates. I have been successfully using FireFox for many years, recently we downsized into a Condo,now 81 years young. I have FireFox as my default browser choice, but it only lists Google on the search bar, when I type in my search in the box under the Firefox name it immediately jumps up to the top of the page Google browser.
How do I get back my screen to use FireFox as my search engine ?? I have tried to change it but will only give me two options Google or Google ?? Is it possible to go back to the screen and try and start again??

I am running Firefox 99.0.1. Lately (probably since the last update) when browsing the web, Firefox will lockup and not be responsive to clicks on hyper links. The issue goes away when I close Firefox and re-open, but after clicking on 3 or four links, it locks up again. MS Edge does not have this problem with the same websites. I did notice in Task Manager that Firefox is opening up 10 processes. Can anyone give some suggestions?
