Hi! I had a firefox account when I worked for the law firm McCormick Barstow a few years ago. I haven't worked there for a few years. I just set up firefox on my personal computer, but am having problems changing my primary email from my work email ([email address]) to my personal email ([email address]). Can you help? I have no way of receiving any codes going to my old work email address which no longer exists. Thank you, Gina Axsom

i miss spelled my email and after i did it wouldnt let me go back and change it even though i didnt even enter the password. now when i try to change it, it trys to make me make a new profile please help.

I need to update my email to my new account. I list it as my secondary and need to make it my primary email. When asking this question I got a response that there was a "make primary" button next to the secondary email that you could use to perform this task. My account does not have that option. I changed my email last year and need to correct it for my Firefox account. Please help.

I no longer have access to the primary account email. I went under "manage account" tried to make the secondary email my primary, Firefox sends verficiation code to my primary email. I do not have access to that email.

Please help.

As of Monday 20 January 2025. Youtube have done it again. Download Helper does not pick up on the video that I am watching and wish to download. This is only with youtube! Since about November I have had to fiddle with what I was watching as youtube would not pick up on the video showing. I had to click on another video, then go back to the first video and the correct url would be there and I could download it. I had to do this for every video.

the email i signed in with is no longer valid i need to put in a new one i have spent an hour trying to find out how to do this is a nightmare there are guidelines for changing a password, but nothing about removing an old invalid email and password it really should not be this hard suggestion: next to the email address put an edit/change button

I would like to make a new account with an email account I control. Currently, the secondary email address can receive 2FA codes and such, but is there some way to transfer all of the history I have with the account to a new one? I cannot make the secondary email address the new one because my university email is now unable to receive emails such as 2FA codes.

Using Firefox browser 126.0.1 via Steam Deck desktop running SteamOS 3.6.22; I am unable to download any extensions. I tried to download uBlock Origin and ProtonVPN through addons.mozilla.org, but recieved an error message:

"Installation aborted because the add-onn appears to be corrupt."

I then checked other extensions I found on the front page recommendations, like "Dark Reader" and "Image Search Options" and they gave me the same error.

Could not find anything that helped my situation upon searching for solutions, any help would be appreciated.
