Hey,

I'm looking for a shortcut/hotkey to focus the page.

The best I found is "Move to Next Frame", which is F6. When having the URL bar as focus, and no bookmark bar open, this will focus the page.

I have two questions here: - Is there a better way to focus the page? - If not, how can I remap F6 to a more usable hotkey?

I have found some threads with workaround like tabbing 2-3 times until the page is in focus. I'm looking for a single shortcut, having to press a key multiple times kinda defeats the purpose of a shortcut.

I have found information on how to remap hotkeys with either extensions or autoconfig, but I can't find which key I have to change. Extensions don't seem to include this key.

For autoconfig, I looked through view-source:chrome://browser/content/browser.xhtml and the Browser Toolbox to find this shortcut, but with no success. Maybe I looked at the wrong spot, maybe not all shortcuts are listed there?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My account was hacked and as a consequence I must go through GOTCHA. I have never had an issue with over use of the site; consequently, I would like the GOTCHA requirement removed.

Looking to restore the bookmarks and saved logins. They accidentally ended up in the trash. I retrieved the files from the trash but now have no idea what to do with these pieces as shown in the "Uploaded images". Any advice is greatly appreciated. Hoping someone can say: "this is where the saved login data is located and this is where the book marks are located AND this is where they need to be reinserted. Thanks in advance.

Now, I got quite the few extensions, up to the amount, these cannot be brought into the Extension Bar. I could be wrong, however, there are possibly others with this issue.

Now, my question is, if Firefox could add a Grouping system within the Extensions Bar, basically drawers that you place on the Extensions Bar, which can be named (like "Writing Tools", "Saving Tools", ... .), and which act as drop-down menus, in which the extensions you placed in this drawer, to be listed when clicked? It would also clean up the Extensions Bar for people like me with many extensions, make it far more orderly ... .

Or, is there an extension which allows this?

How safe are bookmarks in general within my account?

If a file path is bookmarked does this provide file mgmt and hierarchy exposure to internet/ai hacking or use? - If feasible, would that mean every folder and file within the directory path is compromised? - Does this change if hyperlinks? Easier / harder?

i just wanted to post this here so others may find it via google. I had a problem with videos randomly playing with black borders. That was really annoying because sometimes it cut out portions of the video. But after months of trying and searching nothing came out, except the "fullscreen black border 'api-config' fix" wich didn't help me. And now finally I figured it out! It was my damn AMD driver...! It was set to "Home Video" in "Audio and Video", wich enabled "AMD video stabilization".

So in quick summary: When you have black borders while watching video in Firefox; make sure in your AMD-driver, in "Audio and Video", "AMD video stabilization" is turned off!.

I have both Windows and Firefox listed for Firefox as my default browser. I have checked every default app and extension type and they are all directed to open in Firefox. Yet when I click on a web link using Firefox, it opens in Edge. Any help or insight into this is appreciated.

How do I recover the websites that I have been on and emails I get and emails I've sent to people If I delete my history? Is there any products I can buy that saves this information or maybe Firefox does it but a person has to ask them to restore/recover this information?
