I've hit a crazy problem:

I open firefox and browse to a website. Close Firefox and then reopen and attempt any website and it just hangs. Close the browser and look at task manager and it's still listed - end task open again still no connection to anything. Have tried the Read Only thing in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ after a restart of the PC and it stays Read-Only even when I change it. Have tried a new profile which just moves the same behaviour to a new profile ie create a new profile open the browser go to any website, close the browser and reopen and get nothing. I have repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled and I just can't get it to work unless I restart the PC everytime i want to go to a webpage! Anticipate switching to Google Chrome soon if I can't find a solution which is a shame as I have been a Mozy fan for years. Any suggestions?

Firefox version is: 127.0 (64-bit)

My problem is that Firefox seems to be ignoring "#:~:text=highlight this".

Maybe there's something under about:config? I can't find it.

Can you suggest any functions or apps that I must or should avoid? It's important that I NOT use a VPN, and that I use 'open-source' in a probably 'shared access' situation. GRM PL

I can open an email or a google search for this particular website, Sundance, click on an item which then opens on my screen but Firefox is unresponsive when I click within this item screen for details like available sizes and colors. This is the only site that this has occurred.

With some emails in Outlook on Firefox, clicking on a link within the email gives me a new blank window, with its address line saying something like this: (name of original site, then) ".list-manage.com/track/click?u=ca38acd 82fe622b7" etc etc... This doesn't happen with all emails, but often enough and in some of my most-used sites... I'm on a new HP desktop. Can anyone help?

I'm a web developer working for the public radio show This American Life. We have a web audio player on the website and recently I noticed it stopped working in Firefox. Looking closer at the issue, I realized that Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking one of the scripts (pdst.fm - Spotify). Because ETP is turned on by default, I'm hoping there's a way to help bring this part of the site back to functioning without bypassing the Spotify script, as currently that's out of my power. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been trying to contact support about an issue regarding being able to change my account password to the page at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form, however I cannot seem to submit any information. When I try, the page reloads, followed by multiple uncaught errors observed in the console, including a cross site origin request block error (in the latest stable Firefox). My browser settings use the standard browser privacy setting, and custom DNS.

Regarding the error I was trying to report, I am unable to change my password, receiving "incorrect password" despite entering the correct current password. In the browser console, a POST response with error 400 is shown.

I'm experiencing an issue with my website's compatibility with Firefox. website My website, which provides online educational resources and tools, is not displaying certain interactive elements correctly when accessed through Firefox. These elements work perfectly in other browsers like Chrome and Safari.

Specifically, I've noticed that some JavaScript-based interactive features, like quizzes and drag-and-drop activities, either don't load or don't function as expected. I've already cleared the cache and ensured that Firefox is updated to the latest version, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this compatibility problem? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've been trying to install an add-on that is in the .zip format. I set xpinstall.signatures.required to false and restarted the browser, yet Firefox keeps telling me the add-on cannot be installed because it's not verified. Is there a way to change this?

hi, i had to reinstall all my windows , after that whit the new fire fox reinstalled , many pages that load well now they dont , problems of autenticitcity, broken page page icon over images.

in my tablet and phone dont the same pages load well and in the computer too before the reinstall.

Until a few days ago, my Firefox would save all the tabs from the previous session. But now it does not, and I still have all the necessary settings enabled. I noticed that it will save the previous session IF I use the Firefox "EXIT" from the "File" menu. However if I use close the session using the upper right hand corner Windows close box (where the "X"), it does NOT save the tabs from the session. I also notice that when I close the Firefox window using the Windows close box, that Firefox (several) show still running under the Windows Task manager, but not when I use the "File:Exit". Running the current FIrefox version 127.0 (64-bit) under Windows 11.

Hi! I don't like the automatically updated extensions -feature, it seems to have been turned on nowadays, it has been maybe a year or two when you had control to update them by hand! I don't like this feature and it seems to now be in every browser that I use, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi! Is there a way to turn this function off? Maybe a commandline function or an editable thing in a configuration file! Other browser developers should also think about this! I think Firefox has been a good browser to use, I used to use Opera but changed to Firefox quite accidentally when having to install things again!

I have had an issue for months where streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Max, and Amazon Prime will not work on Firefox. I am updated to the latest version, 127.0 (64-bit), and am able to successfully log in to these streaming services, but without fail get an error message when I attempt to stream a video. Netflix returns a F7531 error, Max returns an error code, and Prime Video says I cannot stream without the latest version of the browser even though I am up to date. I have restarted and updated Firefox multiple times, have toggled and uninstalled extensions and nothing has worked. The extensions I currently use are Auto Tab Discard, Google Analytics Opt-Out, Honey, Return Youtube Dislike, Search by Image, Shinigami Eyes, Sponsorblock for Youtube, UBlock Origin, To Google Translate, and Video DownloadHelper.

Need to know why this problem of Firefox (on Linux) suddenly arose. When attempting to make audio or video calls it responds with, Does not work on Firefox browser. Yet it continues to work with about half my contacts.
