I have Firefox set to "view PDF files in Firefox", but this is not happening with sites like Capital One and Consumer's Energy. these sites are just saving directly to my downloads folder even though I 1) Want to view the file first and 2) if it is going to save a flle, it is set up to ask where the file should be saved.

Neither of these things are happening even though I have them set up correctly in Settings.

Hi there for 3 weeks I have been attempting to change my password. First Issue I login go to setting, change password, add old one, create new one and save. Logout of browser and restart, attempt to login using new password but no success. Use old password successful.

Second Issue Firefox is preventing the login to some of my systems by showing and invalid capture response.

URGENT PLEASE ASSIST

Since the last Firefox update, I've noticed an issue whenever I launch the browser. I have it set up so that I have multiple tabs open, and it's set up so that when Firefox starts up, it opens all of the previous tabs and starts me on the tab I was on when I closed the browser previously.

Now whenever I start Firefox, it opens to the last tab I was on, but said tab opens on my current homepage instead of the website that tab was on previously. I experimented by changing my homepage to "Youtube.com", picked a different open tab, closed Firefox and opened it again and sure enough, the tab was now on the Youtube page instead of what it had been previously.

Is this just a bug of the current Firefox version, or is there something in settings I can do to fix this?

I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?

When I log in as admin to my wordpress website, firefox gets stuck in an endless reload loop.

Sometimes if I clear the browser history or open a private window, I can successfully log in and load a page - once. The page seems to load normally but there are 409 errors shown for many of the files in the developer tools.

If I reload the page again, it goes back to the endless loop.

This started when I installed a wordpress caching plugin, but the problem is specific to firefox, so I don't really know whether firefox or the plugin is actually responsible.

How could firefox be getting 409 errors when other browsers get normal 200 responses for the same resources?

Why is firefox triggering this reload loop, and is there a way I can stop it?

I hope this message finds you well! I use two versions of Firefox: the stable one and the developer one.

The developer version is set to start with the Windows start and is set to be minimized on the Windows try but since some years Firefox, as other browser do, never load the page or the tab content if the tab or the window is not active, been seen by the user.

I'm asking if there is some hidden settings in the about:config that allow me to disable this and let Firefox load tabs or page always, not only when the tab or windows is seen by me.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Yesterday, I put my laptop in hibernate mode like I always do. When I turned it back on, I was greeted by Microsoft asking me to install Windows 11. Of course, I declined the offer several times. I then noticed that everything I had opened was now closed. So I opened everything up again, including Firefox.

My laptop has a wide-gamut display, and colours look oversaturated by default. It's one "feature" of this computer that I don't like. So, anyway, I had to fiddle with the color management settings in Firefox to get page elements like images and text not to look blindingly saturated. Aside from videos still being unchanged, the settings worked great for many months. Now, suddenly after this push for Windows 11, the color management has seemingly gone back to what it was like before I got it looking right. Nothing I change has any effect. Change settings. Restart browser. Nothing. Repeat that process until I'm ready to launch my laptop out the window.

I closed out and then re-opened Firefox. I refreshed the browser. I rebooted the system. Nothing. All color management settings don't take any effect.

Since 128.0 was installed outlook.office.com/mail has stopped working. (Windows 11)

My mail account has numerous shared groups. However these now fail to load with a messgae "Cannot load folders for "xxxxxxxxx" Decoding failed.

Additionally, while I can see new mails in the list (under focused and Other), the previews are all blank.

I do not get this error in Edge or Chrome in Windows.

I have about 30 user/password accounts logged when I use my Firefox account on Windows PCs but here on my new Apple Mac tablet, I do NOT see/get any of those accounts. Is there something I need to do to enable this to work?

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. Hello! I have been having certain visual bugs occurring within the Firefox browser, I do not know what's causing them but am hoping someone can help! Firefox keeps on adding or changing translucent white boxes to multiple websites, I have some from YouTube attached below but I've had this issue on multiple websites. I'm using an ARM architecture Surface Pro X and when I reached out to Microsoft they couldn't help me since the error was just in Firefox.

On several site there's a greyed out box top right, which disables anything it covers, can't be got rid of, and makes using Firefox for these sites impossible. Help, please?? Thank you! (I'm having to use Chrome...)

Hello All I took my box to best buy because it was not working properly. They replaced the drive now I have no access to the passwords saved in firefox. Is there any way to get them back ? I have the old drive ! Any help greatly appreciated Gary

Before the recent 1-2 updates, pdfs,pictures and .torrent meta files used to get saved in temp folder which I LOVED very much. Recently these are getting save in my download folder instead of saving in the temp folder.

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

Please assist me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me here. I use Google Fi to make and receive calls from my browser. I accidentally denied microphone permissions to Google Fi from the Firefox dropdown prompt and I cannot find how to get it back.

When I click the dropdown menu, I see no options to enable or disable permissions. I also do not see anything listed in the Security settings of the browser. When I check the google fi settings, I see it complaining about denied permissions though.

I've attached screenshots. Does anyone know where I can revoke the blocked permissions?
