I want to install AdBlock Plus add on, verify it is in fact installed. Also [[;ace icon in taskbar. Also set it for NO ADS at all. Please, how do I do all that?

I wish Firefox's "List all tabs" feature worked more like Chrome's "Search tabs" feature. While they're similar, Chrome's implementation immediately offers a search field with the cursor already in it. To search for an open tab all I have to do is click the arrow and start typing. In Firefox I have to click the arrow and then click again on "Search tabs".

It may sound like a minor detail but I would argue that all the detail are important.

Also, I know that I can type a "%" in the address bar to begin a tab search but sometimes my hand is already on the mouse.

I recently added the Firefox browser, and have it fully up-to-date, and tried adding a few extensions/add-ons. But nowhere are the icons for those extensions/add-ons showing up anywhere in the browser. Not even in the customize toolbars region. I can see that I've added those extensions/add-ons, but their associated icons are nowhere to be found.

How do I go about fixing/correcting this issue?

Hi: Is the World Wide Radio add-on a Mozilla approved, supported add-on ? I can find no way to address comments with them, nor seek support. All that said, I've grown to adore Mozilla's products even though I'm a newbie with all things digital; thanks so much. I am disabled and limited to disability income only; as such I can never afford to support monetarily to my satisfaction.. it is what it is. I do so appreciate the work done by so many contributors. I find that I do need more support to feel comfortable and proficient with all the Mozilla products. Currently I use the Firefox browser and add-ons / and Thunderbird as an email client. I have a lot a devices. I would like the majority of settings/etc to be synced with my account but I would also like to be able to have some add-ons excluded. For example I use Persepolis download manager for the devices that support it but not all my devices support it. Result is I have to toggle active addon every time I switch devices as it syncs.

I have a vision problem and can only read if dark mode is on. I have dark mode on for firefox but when I go to a website from settings, the back ground is white and blinds me. help

I can no longer use roboform or eversync in the new extension button. this is a deal breaker and I have used firefox for the past 20 years or so. the problem is both these addons do not give me the option to pin to the toolbar. I need to do this to use their functions. Help!!!! I am using version 114

Two questions, please

1) My Firefox ANT add-on extension apparently has a file "time limit" set to greater than 2 minutes. In other words, if I try to download a file online that is 2 minutes or less in time (i.e.- an audio file), the ANT application does see recognize or allow it. Is there a way to change this so that any file, regardless of time, can be downloaded?

2) Whenever I open Firefox, a Mozilla Policy File also opens in a second tab. Is there a way to stop this from happening every single time? It's VERY annoying!

We have released a browser add-on that works with apps using NativeMessaging, but it stopped working after updating Firefox to v114 on Windows 10 (64bit). We have confirmed that it works up to v113.0.1. The browser add-on manifest is v2. In the Mac version using the same browser add-on, the application can be linked even after updating to v114. The behavior of the bug on Windows is similar to the behavior when NativeMessagingHosts is not written in the registry. Is there any information about solutions to problems or causes?

I cannot get my extension e.g. OneNote clipper to work or be visible on my toolbar? I have tried suggestion but still not visible or working on my toolbar. Any suggestions appreciated.

When using an email "button" on a website to contact the owner, the email composition box that pops up always fills in the From line with my iCloud email address. How do I change that (permanently) to a different account?

One of the main reasons I use Firefox is the ability to enter the address bar and press "Tab" to go to the next option instead of pressing the down arrow like in some other browsers. The problem I'm encountering is when I want to get to something further down the list, it's all of the sudden tabbing to this little 3 dot menu that has "Remove from history" and "Learn More".

I use this feature a lot to visit past pages for researching, so I'm wondering is this 3 dot menu new? Is there a way to disable it? I've attached a screenshot to hopefully more clearly describe what I'm talking about.

I can't change the language my websites are being displayed in. I changed every setting to english but websites like instagram and youtube are still showing in croatian (because I live in Croatia). I will attach a couple of pictures to prove it.

Citibank site does not allow my accounts to be shown(uploaded with my access field of ID and Password.... and always impossible to log in because it does not recognize my correct information as correct and sees it as false information...therefore does not recognize my ID and password and I am blocked out..

Also old information may not be deleted properly and causes confusion so site needs to be cleared of old useless information.

For over a year when i go to download something it defaults to the downloads folder instead of asking me where I wasnt to download. I'm about fed up with FF. it's been a great 10 years but this issue along with 80% of my sites not loading or working will lead to me jumping ship. Please help!

if i have the "clear cache" addon: and i have 2 browser instances open, when i clear the cache, does it clear both instances or just the one whose button i clicked ?
