I find it very difficult using Awsome screenshot, in fact I never use it, but used to use it, when it was on my tool bar, can I get it back there.

I cannot drag it from "customise tool bar" as it does not show there, it shows in my list of add ons, I have tried removing it, then reinstalling it.

I have enabled my new Theme but it keeps defaulting back to my old Theme. I have tried closing Firefox and opening new tabs. Opening a new tab also changes it back to the default theme. I have sent an image of the old theme. The new theme is Aurora Australis. And the second image shows this Theme enabled. What gives? Carl

Firefox has started making a piercing high-pitched screech when the "save image" and "file update" panels appear. This is a confirmation or alert sound I suppose. It occurs when saving an image from a right-click menu and when downloading a file. Formerly Firefox used the system default sound for this, and that sound is still working in other programs for similar operations.

How can I fix this? Or alternatively how can I disable the sound during such operations in Firefox (or alternatively system-wide)?

I have in my laptop a external webcam a Logitech Webcam C930e. The webcam is a HD webcam with 1080p. But in Google Meet in Firefox I can only configure it at 720p but in Chrome I can configure it at 1080p. Why have that behavior?

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

Some of my add-on shortcuts have disappeared from the toolbar. I have tried all of the suggestions on your help site. If I go to the add-ons page, it says they are still there, but they don't show up in my browser.

So i wanted to remove borderline between text bar and tab bar. After some googling i manege to do so by console(contl+shift+alt+i), in string "--tabs-navbar-separator-color: light-dark(rgba(0,0,0,.1), rgba(0,0,0,.3));" i change 3 to 0 and borderline gone. But every time i restart browser is all back. Is there any way to make it permanent ?

Hi there! Every time i go onto a site like YouTube, Chess.com, ChatGPT etc, it asks for my login each time and i know there is a setting for it to remember me so i do not have to log into my account every time i use the site but I have looked everywhere and still fail to see it. Where about can i turn this setting on so i do not have to sign into my profile to use the relevant site. Thank you.

Before the recent 1-2 updates, pdfs,pictures and .torrent meta files used to get saved in temp folder which I LOVED very much. Recently these are getting save in my download folder instead of saving in the temp folder.

I changed this setting to allows ask. Still the files are getting saved in the download folder after opening.

Please assist me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I use a MacBook AIr with OS 14.4.1 (Sonoma) and want to add a short cut link to Proton Mail (Free version) that I can put in my MacOS Dock. I am using Firefox 125.03 version.

I used to have a link in my Mac Dock but then I tried the trial of their desktop app-- and when that ended recently, I did not know how to set the Dock link up again. I tried directions for other browsers but they did not help.

'The link I want the short cut to go to is' https://account.proton.me/mail so I can sign right in to check my email.

So I checked Proton's support site for help but it has directions to do this ONLY from Safari and another browser, NOT Firefox.

If you can give me some straightforward directions to add the shortcut to Proton Mail sign in back to my Mac Dock, I would be grateful!

I really enjoy and feel safer using Firefox, by the way! thank you

Hello, all the sudden, news site comments don't show and after research here I learned it might be enhanced protection tracking settings. I tried all the settings and nothing seems to work well (not tech savvy). Strict = user comments blocked and all the other settings allow so many ads they cover content and/or there are a hundred on a page. On a desktop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi, I've been trying to get the Multi-Account Containers Add On to work on my computer for quite some time. Would be very handy for me. When I add the Add On to my browser the icon on the top right of the screen just won't show up. Don't know what I've been doing wrong...? How can I access the container settings someway else? I've made changes to my FF settings in regards to privacy via the recommendation from Sun Knudsen but don't really see an issue here. Thanks in advance!

is there any Collections where category wise someone can save web sites ?

Presently, I do not find any. Hence, i am using Pocket and keeping there creating Lists, but it is not so cosy kind, Shall request Firefox team to create Collections in Firefox on windows 11

I'm unsure about this setting. I don't want a tab to reload when it's switched to.

It seems to indicate that something will be reloaded regardless of what I choose. I assume that's probably not the case.

Please confirm.

I recently suffered from the "127.0.1" not compatible error. Eventually I was persuaded to reinstall firefox from the Mozilla oficial site using Edge, despite having reservations about losing my passwords etc. which has happened before. Fortunately, the installation routine included an update option which preserved all of that. However, my menus bar (File ...... History, Bookmarks...) is missing and I cannot find any way to get it back. I rely upon it to restore previous sessions, because I routinely have the same 7 tabs open and want to be able to get them back after an update or laptop shutdown, and also use it to search history and find bookmarks that are not in the bookmarks bar. Any help welcome.

As an asside, my pet hate is updates to any application that remove, move, or hide a very useful feature without explanation or warning and claim to be to "improve the user experience". Take it from a long standing user, they don't. Quite the contrary.
